KOMPAN is the global leader in outdoor play and fitness areas. We are growing, so we have started our search for our new Marketing Coordinator. In this role, you will support the Marketing Manager by executing and optimising the yearly marketing plan to generate leads, grow market share, increase brand awareness, and meet consumer needs. You will also be involved in strategic decision-making and planning where required to ensure the marketing department functions and support the wider business effectively.
What will you do?
Your role and responsibilities will include:
- Email marketing and social media content creation
- Designing/writing content for paid marketing engagements
- PR activities to engage with the customers and wider communities
- Event planning for tradeshows, conferences, site activations, webinars and more
- Content management for web and product management on digital platforms
- Document proofing and editing
- Data management in CRM
- Ad-hoc photography and graphic design
- Product training (live and via email) to internal and external sales teams/staff
- Maintaining brand integrity across activities and materials
- Presentation/document creation to support initiatives and campaigns
You will work with our KOMPAN colleagues in Sales, Internal Sales, Sales Support and our Head Office staff in Denmark. Also, you will interact with our customers and project-related contacts e.g. event managers, suppliers and others.
More about you
We’d like you to be able to say yes to some of the below:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a business marketing function
- A degree or substantial certifications in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management or equivalent
- Experience working in a commercial/industrial construction supply business preferably in an international / multinational company
You are familiar with some of the following digital platforms:
- CRM (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Hubspot)
- CMS (Wordpress, Contentful, Webflow)
- Task Management (Asana, Jira, Monday, Trello)
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, Lightroom, AfterEffects)
- Social media planning tool (Hootsuite, Falcon, Later)
- MS Office suite
- EDM software (ClickDimensions, CampaignMonitor, Mailchimp)
- Photography
As a person, you have a high attention to detail. You are self-starting and able to manage own workload independently. You can work collaboratively towards a shared goal and have good time management skills.
You are organised with a strong ability to multitask and have strong written and verbal communication skills. We are looking for someone who is creative, confident and well-presented. As you are in contact with many internal and external stakeholders, you are friendly and good at building relationships. We are busy - therefore, you need to thrive in fast-paced environments.
You are in the Brisbane area and will work from our Geebung office daily.
