For KOMPAN Suomi, we are currently looking for a Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of five District Sales Managers within the sales team of KOMPAN's playgrounds and fitness equipment.
KOMPAN's purpose is to help our customers create a healthier and happier society, and we have been doing so since 1970. We provide quality solutions for playgrounds and fitness sites. We design, manufacture, and install more than 1,000 playgrounds and fitness areas each month across over 100 countries - equivalent to one installation every 44 minutes.
Responsible for market development
In this role, you will lead a team of five District Sales Managers, overseeing their day-to-day work and supporting their efforts to maximize sales performance. You will be responsible for developing sales processes and ensuring the implementation of best practices to enhance the overall performance of the team.
As part of your role, you will drive the sales strategy, focusing on securing long-term agreements and framework contracts for playground and fitness equipment, particularly within the residential construction sector. You will collaborate closely with the Managing Director on annual contracts and framework agreements, ensuring alignment with broader company goals.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for monitoring key sales metrics and providing regular reports to senior management. Effective use of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system will be key to tracking sales activities and identifying new opportunities.
In addition to leading your team, you will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including municipal procurement departments, architect offices, and construction firms, ensuring that KOMPAN's offerings are well positioned in the market.
Sales experience and skillset
You bring experience in B2B sales, and your background could be in sales to construction, public procurement, or related industries. You thrive on building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and you are capable of leading and influencing highly experienced and knowledgeable sales professionals with respect and assertiveness.
You have strong analytical skills and can derive insights from sales data and performance metrics. You are used to working with CRM systems and data-driven sales strategies. You are results-driven and able to maintain a balance between long-term goals and short-term achievements.
As a manager, you can guide and challenge our highly experienced team members when necessary. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and inspire confidence among both internal and external stakeholders. As a person, you are robust and thrive in an independent environment. You are motivated by providing guidance and direction to our sales team to achieve targeted sales growth.
You are fluent in Finnish and proficient in English for internal communication and interaction with international stakeholders.
