As a Packaging Material Specialist, you will be an integral part of our Group Logistics team, working across our European operations. You will play a key role in managing and optimizing our packaging materials category, ensuring cost efficiency, supplier performance, and continuous development of packaging solutions.
You’ll collaborate with colleagues across departments in a flat organizational structure where transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement are at the core of how we work.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic purchasing of packaging materials across the BORG Group
- Supplier management and responsibility, ensuring strong partnerships and performance
- Driving cost-out initiatives (e.g., material selection, box sizes, and optimization opportunities)
- Development and implementation of innovative packaging solutions
- Coordination of new packaging materials with stakeholders and suppliers
- Supporting cross-functional logistics projects
What We’re Looking For
- Experience within procurement, supply chain, logistics, or similar
- Preferably experience in packaging materials purchasing management
- Result driven with a strong motivation to develop effective solutions
- Strong commercial and analytical skills
- Experience with suppliers and sourcing
- Structured and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to collaborate internationally
