Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Project Manager to join our CPI team in Nivelles, Belgium. This role is crucial in leading and coordinating sales projects from the receipt of RFQs (Request for Quotation) through to SOP (Start of Production). The ideal candidate will work closely with various departments including engineering, procurement, production, logistics, and quality assurance to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Oversee and coordinate sales projects from RFQ receipt to SOP, covering scope, planning, execution, and risk management.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work collaboratively with engineering, procurement, production, logistics, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth project alignment and execution.
- Holistic Development: Build a comprehensive view of CPI RFQ/Sales Projects development to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Process Evaluation: Continuously evaluate and improve the CPI RFQ process to maintain high standards of project delivery.
- Project Reporting: Provide detailed reports on project scope, including timelines, resources/budget (cost), and deliverables.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges that could impact project delivery and develop effective strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Sales Support: Support specific projects within the sales department, not limited to RFQs.
- Project Management Expertise: Serve as the key user for the Project Management Model, ensuring best practices and methodologies are applied.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong understanding of RFQ processes and project life cycles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate cross-departmental collaboration.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills to manage project scope, timelines, and budgets.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and process optimization.
