D365 WMS Senior Specialist

Borg Automotive are the largest independent remanufacturer of car parts in the aftermarket. With a commitment to quality and continuous improvement, we strive to deliver refabricated parts that are on par or exceeds quality of OEM parts. As we continuously expand our operations through acquisitions and organic growth, and are starting up a company wide ERP migration, we would like to bolster our capabilities in the supply chain area. The role would be based in Poland (Zduńska Wola and/or Łódź).
The Position
As a D365 WMS Senior Specialist at Borg Automotive, you will be a part of the Business Applications team looking after our D365 and reporting directly to the ERP Manager. The ERP team is a group function, and your area of responsibilities covers multiple countries. The corporate language is English, so an excellent skillset is required here both on the verbal and written side.
Your responsibility will include being the domain expert for supply chain and WMS in the ERP in collaboration with your colleague who has domain expertise on the same area, but for now in AX2012. If you have knowledge about production in D365, it’s a plus, but it’s not a must - if you have experience in production, the domain could be extended to cover this area as well, should that be of interest.
Borg Automotive are operating on D365 FSCM today for part of the business. It is the strategy to have all entities running in the same D365 FSCM in the future. This means that a big part of your responsibility will be to facilitate the track of WMS for the larger ERP project, to move the business from AX2012. This will happen hand in hand with the other Supply chain expert and the ERP Manager, but you will be a driving force. If you have been part of a D365 WMS project before, that of course is an additional plus.
Being part of the ERP team, there will be responsibilities in large projects, smaller changes and support oriented tasks. Being the specialist in D365 WMS, you will also be a part of upskilling the current team to help you on especially support, leaving you to focus on the other elements of the job. As a domain expert, you always keep yourself up to date on the developments in your area and enjoy that we at time, need to acquire knowledge about something brand new.
The role as D365 WMS Senior Specialist is located in Łódż or Zduńska Wola . You will have IT colleagues in both offices, and travel between these will facilitate getting to know them. Furthermore, As we’re located in serveral places in Europe, business trips must be expected, but only to a minor degree. All trips will be planned in advance leaving time to prepare for them.
The role is as such an in office role as this best aligns with our company values, but there are flexibility when it comes to some work from home.
Your profile
As a person you have strong analytical skills and you are organised and methodical in your approach to tasks and challenges. You’re open minded, Outgoing as a person and have the ability to forge relationships with stakeholders in- and outside of IT.
You’re probably working a similar role today, or you come from a consultancy and want to dial back on the travel. You have a good amount of experience from Supply chain and comfortable with all the terminology used in the area. You like to be surrounded by your colleagues from your own team and teams in IT as well and it gives you energy to be in the office and co-located with your peers.
