Operating out of GPV’s head office in Vejle, the strategy team works closely with the Executive Leadership Team and other senior leaders driving business critical- and cross-functional topics crucial for delivering on strategy.
The Student Assistant will work together with five internationally oriented colleagues on supporting the strategy execution as well as current integration from M&A activities. The team consists of former management consultants, projects managers and industry experts. It’s a dynamic and ambitious team with a high focus on team spirit and personal development. You can expect high focus on personal as well as professional development of your strategy and consulting toolbox.
Reporting to our VP Strategy & Sustainability, this job develops your practical experience within strategy and business development in a large international company. Due to a flat organisational structure, you will be connected broadly in the organisation.
About the job
Your tasks are a mix of routines and more challenging tasks which all require a high level of self-drive, focus on quality and ability to deliver within the agreed timeframe. Over time, you will become responsible for your own - projects and initiatives. Examples of tasks:
- Data analysis and maintenance towards data-driven decision making
- Support ongoing M&A agenda and subsequent integration efforts
- Supporting execution of strategic initiatives
- Competitor & market analysis
The working hours are estimated to 10-15 hours per week but flexible and can be arranged considering your studies. At least one day a week with presence at the office in Vejle, which after an introduction period can be combined with working from home. We provide a laptop for business purposes. Start-up expected as soon as possible.
About you
We assume you are finishing your Bachelor or just starting your Masters within Finance, Finance & International Business, Business Administration, Business Intelligence, Information Management, Innovation, Strategy or similar (e.g., Cand.Merc / Cand.Oecon). We expect English language skills on a professional level and good knowledge of the Office 365 package, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Prior experience with data analysis is a plus, as a lot of the tasks will be based within data management and the ability to understand how data is used in a business context.
As a person you must be open-minded, reliable to deliver on agreed tasks and easy to work with.
