International Sales Manager A-series

Purpose of the commercial organization at Green Hydrogen Systems (GHS) is to drive sales and supporting our customers accelerating the green energy transition and industrial decarbonization based on our electrolysis technology.

In this role as International Sales Manager, you will lead B2B sales and new business development within key international markets, segments and named accounts. In addition, you will serve as a key member of the commercial organization, reporting to the VP of Sales.

The commercial organization is responsible for the offering of products and related services, the full customer journey from marketing and sales to project delivery and service as well as internationalization of the business.

The commercial area covers the following set of functional disciplines:

  • Sales and Account Management
  • Technical Sales
  • Project Delivery
  • Service Delivery

GHS is a pure OEM and life-time service provider targeting a multitude of electrolysis projects with sizes anywhere from 1 to 100MW plus. Smaller projects are typically characterized by a size of 1-5MW, sales through local/regional integrators, order values in the 1-5 mEUR and sales cycles of 3-8months. Medium to large projects are characterized by size 5-100MW plus, sales through leading project developers, energy players or EPC companies i.e., Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, European Energy, Eurowind, ENGIE, Oersted, Aker Solution, Aker Clean Hydrogen, Worley, Siemens-Gamesa and Vestas, order values in the 5-100 mEUR and sales cycles of 18-36 months.

Primary responsibilities: In this role you will be part of the commercial team with particular focus on our A-series electrolysers, developing new business and driving sales with integrators and end-customers across Europe.


  • Develop new business opportunities and grow sales within selected markets, segments and named accounts meeting or exceeding revenue and margin contribution targets.
  • Support marketing in building and executing effective digital marketing campaigns to drive new sales leads.
  • Take full ownership of the customer relation and the deal process. Lead and engage the extended account management team as/when needed covering product specialists, service specialists, operations, marketing, finance, legal as well as sales management.
  • Disciplined use of CRM (HubSpot) to manage companies, contracts, deal flow, forecasting and reporting.
  • Represent the business at international hydrogen trade shows, associations, and the likes.
  • Follow the GHS sales process and playbook
