Green Hydrogen Systems (GHS) is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of electrolysers (technology: pressurized alkaline). The company was founded in 2007, later acquired by a capital fund and in 2021 listed on Nasdaq Copenhagen: GREENH.CO. 

The company is in the midst of a thrilling scale-up journey, driving the transition to a greener economy and ultimately making the world a better place for all. The publicly stated target is to reach 1 billion DKK in revenue by 2026… and to do so, sales play a pivotal role.

Your key responsibilities

In the position as International Sales Manager, you will lead commercial sales within key international markets, segments and named accounts. You will work closely with the rest of the commercial organization as well as colleagues across functional areas and report directly to the VP, Sales & Marketing. 

As a pure OEM and service provider, GHS is targeting a wide range of electrolysis projects with sizes from 1 to 100MW. Small to medium projects are typically characterized by a size of 1-30MW, sales through integrators, order values in the 2-50 mEUR and sales cycles of 12-24months. Large projects are characterized by size 30MW plus, sales through larger EPCs, project developers and energy providers, order values in the 50-100 mEUR and sales cycles of 24-36 months.

Your main tasks and deliveries will include: 

  • Develop new business opportunities and grow sales within assigned markets, segments, regions and named accounts, working towards achieving our revenue and contribution targets.
  • Support marketing in developing and executing effective marketing campaigns to drive new sales leads.
  • Take full ownership of the customer relationship and the deal process.
  • Engage, organize and lead the extended account management team, including technical sales specialists, operations, delivery etc.
  • Work with a sales pipeline approach incl. disciplined use of CRM to manage companies, contracts, deal flow, forecasting and reporting. 
  • Represent the business at international hydrogen trade shows, associations, and the likes
  • Work with and develop the GHS sales process and playbook with the rest of our team.

GHS is in the middle of a scale-up journey, so you will also get to participate actively in developing processes, models and concepts within the commercial space and help shape who we are and how we work.

We are looking for a candidate, with following: 

  • Experience with international B2B sales within the European renewable energy sector.
  • Prior experience with electrolysis, or as an EPC or project developer.  
  • Strong commercial and good technical business acumen.
  • Relevant commercial and/or technical education.
  • Positive, energetic, ambitious, disciplined and willing to roll your sleeves up.
  • Excited about the prospects of building, shaping, and leading elements of a sales organization for a scale-up business in the green energy transition.
