Are you experienced in navigating within legislation and fostering effective collaboration across all levels of the organization and customers? Are you committed to staying updated on safety standards and compliance regulations? Then you could be the Compliance Specialist we are looking for to join our team at Green Hydrogen Systems.  

Your key responsibilities

As Compliance Specialist you will become a key contributor in creating and ensuring company guidelines for process safety and compliance. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure adherence to legal frameworks governing the design and installation of our products, providing support to both internal colleagues and customers.

Your main tasks and deliveries will include: 

  • Engage in the full value chain to ensure that our final products will comply with relevant legislation, including directives, regulations, and harmonized standards.
  • Effectively communicate risks, recommendations, and risk mitigation strategies to relevant stakeholders based on outcomes of HAZOP studies.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across various departments e.g.  production, manufacturing engineering, and electrical engineering to develop high-quality solutions within legal parameters.
  • Maintain ongoing alignment of organizational processes with relevant safety standards and compliance requirements.

To ensure effective collaboration across the organization, good communication is a key parameter. To succeed in this position, you will become the preferred partner by your colleagues, supporting the full value chain and ensuring that our customers are provided with the best possible experience with our products.

Who are you? 

We seek candidates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, mechanical, process, or marine engineering, complemented by hands-on experience in navigating relevant legislation. Your background should demonstrate a commitment to ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards, as well as experience in product development and new product design. Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify root causes of issues and implement effective corrective actions, are essential.

You are a team player with excellent communication skills, enabling seamless interaction with colleagues across our entire organization. Taking ownership of your tasks, you actively contribute with valuable insights to support your team and benefit our organization. Your personality is crucial in our selection process, and we are willing to offer training to the right candidate who demonstrate growth potential and alignment with our values.
