Are you ready to make a significant impact on industrial safety? Are you experienced with HAZID, HAZOP and LOPA studies? Then this is the opportunity for you. We are currently looking for a Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Green Hydrogen Systems. 

Your key responsibilities

As Risk Management Specialist you will be responsible for conducting HAZID, HAZOP and LOPA studies to identify hazards, deviations, and operability issues. You will play a key role in risk assessment, analysis, handlings, and mitigation, whilst ensuring compliant documentation and reporting. 

Your main tasks and deliveries will include: 

  • Participate in HAZOP studies for industrial processes to identify potential hazards, deviations, and operability issues.
  • Implement and maintain processes for risk handling and mitigation.
  • Communicate risks, recommendations, and risk mitigation strategies to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports detailing the findings of HAZOP studies and risk assessments.

To succeed in this position, you will ensure an efficient process for risk analysis and communicate risks, recommendations, and risk mitigation strategies to relevant stakeholders within and outside the organisation. 

Who are you? 

We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree within chemical, mechanical or process engineering or within risk management. This combined with practical experience with HAZOP facilitation and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards is essential. Certifications in Process Safety Management or equivalent is considered an advantage. 

On a personal level, you have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. You have strong problem-solving skills, and you are confident in identifying the causes of issues, developing effective corrective actions, and continuously improving process safety. You thrive in a dynamic environment were daily tasks and priorities are changing.
