Play a key role in our strategic journey

As our new Product Manager for Outdoor Fitness and Sport, you won’t just be managing products, you’ll be helping to drive a core strategic pillar of our business. Outdoor fitness and multisport are central to our vision for the future, and this role is instrumental in shaping and executing our global strategy in this space. You will be responsible for product categories that represent a double-digit percentage of our total revenue and are positioned to be among the fastest-growing areas within our business. Therefore, this is a unique opportunity to drive innovation and growth in a strategically critical area.

You will take products from idea to market by building a strong go-to-market model for each launch while shaping effective marketing campaigns and messaging in collaboration with our in-house creative and digital teams. Additionally, you will be commercially responsible for tracking and managing your product portfolio to ensure optimal performance and growth.

Further, you will: 

  • Drive product innovation pipelines for fitness and multisport
  • Present project status and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Gather insights through customer interviews, market collaboration, and data analysis
  • Collaborate with the KOMPAN Fitness Institute and our Fitness Strategy Director to ensure consumer-centric innovation
  • Prepare sales tools and marketing briefs
  • Track product performance and manage lifecycle optimization
  • Maintain and consolidate product data

You’ll be part of an energetic, diverse, and international team based in Odense, Denmark, working to identify new growth opportunities and deliver innovative solutions that support active lifestyles and community well-being.

Make a difference with your product management skills

You hold a degree in Business, Innovation, Engineering, Entrepreneurship or similar and have a minimum of 5-10 years of product management experience, ideally from a global company.

You understand market dynamics and customer needs, turning insights into strong product opportunities. With experience taking physical products from concept to launch, you create compelling briefs and partner with marketing to deliver impactful launches and great user experiences. A passion for sport and fitness and any commercial responsibility for a product line will be a big plus. 

You can work in multifunctional teams consisting of designers, engineers, scientists, marketeers etc.

Further, you possess:

  • Strong communication skills in English 
  • Solid presentation skills and are comfortable in presenting to senior management and business partners
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to come up with innovative ideas 
  • Excellent in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint

Be the safety expert behind KOMPAN’s innovative designs 


You will play a central role in KOMPAN’s Product Innovation team, working closely with the rest of the organization to develop the world’s most innovative and safe playgrounds and outdoor fitness equipment on a large scale. Your special focus will be product innovation with focus on compliance with international product safety standards and securing vital data for big-scale production. 

In an international environment, and supported by colleagues and Product Safety Manager, you will be securing and documenting all relevant product data related to compliance and supporting a large supply chain.

You will be the key safety person on the projects and an innovative and creative player in the interdisciplinary collaboration creating innovative solutions.

More specifically, your responsibilities include:

  • Being an expert within selected segments/product lines.
  • Participating in product development projects and providing safety input to designers and engineers.
  • Preparing test specifications for specific product development projects.
  • Data management of vital product data.
  • In collaboration with the rest of the Product Safety team, defining KOMPAN's standard and test products and components against it.
  • Documenting that all relevant standards and legal requirements are met on new and existing products within the product line.
  • Engaging in dialog with certified third-party authorities, TÜV, UL, etc.

You will be part of the Product Safety department, which consists of 7 dedicated colleagues in Denmark and 4 in the Czech Republic. For the position, limited travel activity of 10-15 days per year is expected.
 

A Product Innovation Engineer with a technical background 
 

You hold an educational background as a mechanical engineer or similar and have been working with product development or product safety for 2-10 years. You probably come from the manufacturing industry and are globally oriented.

To be successful in the role, you have a strong technical understanding and have an elevated level of abstraction and ability to anticipate risk. You have an understanding and interest in data management and a desire to work with data, standards, and norms.

The position is very knowledge-intensive, and we are looking for a candidate who will develop in the position over many years and who can be part of a long-term generational change in Product Safety. You have the ability to take responsibility for technical decisions and are fluent in written and spoken English.

Own and grow KOMPAN’s site‑amenity categories

As a Group SLOF Business Unit Manager, you’ll own and grow KOMPAN’s site‑amenity categories - Shading, (Integrated) Lighting and Outdoor Furniture - as the category lead for strategy, roadmap, and commercial performance. 

You’ll deliver value‑engineered upgrades, launch new innovations, and assess M&A options to accelerate growth. The role has no direct reports initially, but you’ll lead cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, Product Innovation, Finance, and our markets -especially the US for Shading.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Build a three-year strategy and rolling 12-month roadmap, addressing portfolio gaps and regional priorities for the categories: Shading, (Integrated) Lighting and Outdoor Furniture
  • Lead value engineering efforts to reduce costs and improve product quality. Oversee new product development from concept to launch readiness, including certifications and launch kits.
  • Manage category performance, including quoting, revenue, gross margin, and market KPIs. Drive corrective actions and set launch targets, conducting post-launch reviews to refine strategies.
  • Scout for new business opportunities, build a pipeline of potential partners or acquisition targets, and lead commercial due diligence to support category strategy and expansion.
  • Orchestrate virtual teams across multiple functions to deliver roadmap milestones on time and within budget.
  • Support the Group Commercial & Business Development Director with broader business development tasks as needed.

You’ll refer to the Group Commercial & Business Development Director and become part of the department Group Commercial & Business Development with approx. 25 dedicated colleagues. 

The position is based at our headquarters in Odense, Denmark, and includes international travel.

Strategic B2B Product Leader with P&L Impact and Cross-Functional Drive

We’re looking for a Product/Category or Business Development leader with 6-10 years of experience in Product Management and/or Business Development within B2B companies that operate their own production facilities. An alternative background could be in Management Consulting, with experience in B2B, M&A, and pricing.

You hold an MSc in Business, Engineering, Design/Industrial Product, or a related field. Significant practical experience may substitute for formal education.

Key qualifications and attributes include:

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct managerial authority.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with experience in portfolio management, value engineering & new product innovation, and commercial due diligence. 
  • Demonstrated P&L impact in a category/portfolio role (growth, margin, mix)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach-able to work independently and develop products in collaboration with other departments.
  • Comfortable working in an international context, with a focus on U.S. market expansion.
  • Familiarity with commercial M&A assessment (synergies, fit, portfolio & customer analysis, GTM/coverage models).
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Category Manager, Indirect Procurement

Are you ready to lead strategic procurement initiatives and build and lead an indirect procurement community across a global organization? We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven Category Manager - Indirect Procurement to professionalize and optimize our indirect spend across multiple categories and markets in close collaboration with strategic suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Lead Global Indirect Procurement Across Markets and Categories

In this high-impact role, you will drive procurement across indirect categories including Installation, Service, IT, HR, Facility, Finance, Energy, Marketing, and Maintenance-covering approx. 1 billion DKK in annual spend. 

You’ll spearhead the development of sourcing strategies, streamline supplier portfolios, and lead high-value negotiations in close collaboration with stakeholders across our global sales subsidiaries and production sites. A key part of your role will be to drive and engage our indirect procurement community - working closely with colleagues in the US and with key coordinators in our six largest EU sales markets. This involves leading strategic projects while driving cross-border initiatives without relying on direct reporting lines.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the sourcing strategy for all indirect categories
  • Expand spend coverage and drive 5-10% savings on contracted spend
  • Establish governance structures and IT platforms to support procurement excellence and ensure easy access to agreements and clear guidance to local buyers for ways of working
  • Lead procurement projects and strategic initiatives (e.g., make-or-buy, insourcing, contract management) 
  • Consolidate purchasing across markets to increase negotiation power
  • Act as a visible and proactive business partner across group functions and local markets, including providing input to business development and opportunities
  • Drive benchmarking, supplier analysis, and commercial recommendations 

You will become a part of the Sourcing Management Team and join a professional and result-oriented team of 19 colleagues globally. We have a professional but humorous tone of voice with a strong focus on teamwork. In this role, you will report to our Group Sourcing Director.

The position is located at our HQ in Odense, Denmark, but you should expect 40 travel days per year.

Proven Indirect Procurement Expert with Strong Business Acumen

You hold a Cand.merc or HD degree-ideally within Procurement, Sales, International Business, or Finance-and bring 5-10 years of experience in indirect procurement within an international company or in industries related to our indirect categories such as construction or outdoor furniture. Your background may include roles in procurement, sales, or product management. 

You bring a solid foundation in:

  • Strategic sourcing and category management
  • Indirect category expertise from international companies or suppliers
  • Business development and implementation of commercial solutions
  • Project management and strong negotiation capabilities
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Power BI
  • Familiarity with ERP systems-experience with QAD is a plus

We’re is seeking a dedicated Visualizer to transform ideas into compelling visual concepts that inspire and engage. You will play a key role in bringing playground and fitness solutions to life through high-quality 3D renderings, animations, and visual presentations.

Together with our customers and agents, we design and visualize large playgrounds and outdoor fitness areas for many different countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

What you'll do:

  • 3D modelling and visualizing outdoor playground and fitness solutions for diverse markets globally.
  • Ensure that KOMPAN’s design proposals are meeting or exceeding customers’ expectations.
  • Ensure alignment on design direction and critical decisions with sales and design colleagues.
  • Ensure that design proposals are delivered within deadlines.

You will be part of Design and Visualization team in International Sales. The team has employees in Spain, Chile, Dubai etc., but is managed from our headquarters in Odense, where you will also be based.

Creative 3D Visualizer who brings technical drawings to life

You hold a Diploma or Degree in Digital Media, Visualization or similar and have 1-3 years of experience in the field.  

You are familiar with AutoCAD, 3D MAX, V-ray, Photoshop and others. 

Moreover, you:

  • Possess a great technical understanding combined with the ability to illustrate your ideas in a creative way.
  • Have the ability to work independently and drive projects from brief to delivery. 
  • Possess good communication skills as well as problem-solving skills. 
  • Have an eye for detail and take pride in good craftmanship. 
  • Are customer- and market-oriented in your approach.
