We are currently looking for a Commercial Finance Partner to join our team in Commercial Finance, located at our headquarters in Odense, Denmark.

Enjoy both daily operational tasks and project-based work

As a Commercial Finance Partner with KOMPAN, you will play an important role in supporting the Commercial Finance function with analyses and insights to strengthen decision-making within pricing, margin management and commercial finance topics.

Your main tasks include providing financial analysis and business partnering focused on profitability, discount patterns, project pricing as well as broader commercial insights such as KPI follow-up and scenario modelling.

In this role, you will contribute actively to the company’s pricing agenda, combining operational follow-up with project-driven initiatives.

Other responsibilities and tasks include:

  • Provide structured financial follow-up on margins, discounts and cost/value drivers across product lines and projects.
  • Support business insights through KPI monitoring, scenario modelling and ad-hoc analysis for management.
  • Contribute to benchmark studies and price positioning processes in collaboration with Product Management.
  • Take ownership of project tasks and deliver financial analysis that translates into clear business recommendations.

You will be joining our Commercial Finance department in Odense, referring to our Head of Commercial Finance.

Commercial mindset with an interest in pricing and profitability

We are looking for a candidate who will bring experience in margin analysis, project pricing, profitability or revenue management.

You hold a master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration or similar. Alternatively, you have a strong analytical education such as Applied Economics, Accounting or similar quantitative studies.

You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Finance, Controlling, Business Partnering or Pricing roles. As this is a global role, you are fluent in English orally and in writing.

Moreover, we expect that you will bring:

  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • A solid understanding of P&L and cost/value drivers.
  • The ability to translate complex analysis into clear business insights and recommendations.
  • Experience with BI tools (PowerBI) and advanced Excel - SQL or other data tools are an advantage.

As a person, you work in a structured and detail-oriented manner with the ability to also see the bigger picture. You are a strong communicator, who is proactive and solution oriented. We are looking for a colleague with a commercial mindset and an interest in pricing and profitability.

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist in KOMPAN A/S, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talents to meet the evolving needs of our organization. You will play a critical role in building a strong employer brand and ensuring a seamless candidate experience.

With a business-oriented approach, you will do Talent Acquisition from A-Z worldwide in more than 20 countries. This includes:

  • Defining job descriptions and candidate profile in close collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Writing job advertisements and publishing on relevant job boards, including LinkedIn paid job slots.
  • Sourcing and attracting potential candidates through LinkedIn sourcing.
  • Screening and shortlisting candidates.
  • Preparing for interviews, including defining cases and interpreting competences based on Garuda’s assessment tool.
  • Conducting interviews, including giving feedback on Garuda's assessment tools. 

You will be thoroughly onboarded into the business, preparing you to have valuable sparring sessions with the hiring managers to find the right match. 

We value socializing in the office in Odense but are open to working from home more days a week. You will join our Group HR department consisting of 10 employees supporting with HR globally - 3 of these are fully dedicated to Talent Acquisition. 

Business-oriented Recruiter or Talent Acquisition expert 

You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in HR, Communications, or similar and have experience working with Talent Acquisition from A-Z. You possess a commercial understanding and have worked in a global company, giving you an understanding of cultural differences. 

Further, we expect that you:

  • Are experienced in LinkedIn Recruiter, including paid job slots and sourcing. 
  • Possess a great understanding of full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting.
  • Can collaborate and build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and candidates. 
  • Are familiar with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). 

You will have full responsibility for your own processes, but of course, with the necessary support from the team. This requires you to be self-driven and able to reach out and seek support when needed.

Director of Product System Architecture

Do you want to drive cross-functional development and alignment to ensure that product designs meet customer needs while still being scalable, modular, manufacturable, installable and cost-efficient?

This position is reporting to senior management to establish strategic leadership focus that connects commercial development needs with system architecture and complexity management, manufacturing readiness, sourcing strategy and ease of installation/service.

Own and drive strategy related to product complexity management

At KOMPAN, we are experiencing solid growth driven by an ambitious innovation strategy, and more customers are asking for customized solutions. This adds complexity to our business in several ways.

In this position, you will own and drive the complexity management strategy linked to product system architecture and product development.

You will lead the project management team and report to our CSCO and our Product Innovation Director. 

Your key responsibilities are tied to modularization of product platforms, ensuring design for manufacturing and installation are integrated all aspects of product innovation as well as complexity reduction is a key focus area. This includes:

  • Integrating Design for Manufacturing (DfM) including installation and sourcing requirements into the product architecture roadmap 
  • Aligning cross-functional stakeholders around new design principles and modular platform focus
  • Leading the project management team and improving our stage gate model to ensure the implementation of Design for Manufacturing (DfM) models and processes throughout the product development cycle
  • Leading initiatives to reduce part and supplier complexity through platform standardization and preferred component use
  • Developing and deploying architecture playbooks and Design for Manufacturing (DfM) guidelines used across product lines
  • Establishing governance processes for architectural and complexity-related decisions
  • Building internal awareness and transparency around the business cost of unmanaged complexity, including KPI structure

Senior engineering leader with solid experience in product modularization

You have an engineering background and have been working with product architecture, engineering leadership, project management including complexity management, for min. 5-10 years. 

You have proven experience with Design for Manufacturing (DfM), strategic sourcing integration and product development. 

Further, we are looking for a profile with:

  • Experience in cross-functional leadership and organizational transformation
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM), cost modelling, and modular design methodologies
  • Management experience, including leading Project Managers
