Exciting Opportunity in a Thriving Company
In this role, you will act as a partner for the business and the Managing Directors of Sweden and Finland, providing management of business profitability and ensuring KOMPAN’s best practices and processes are implemented. You will also provide advice based on data enablement and analysis to shape the best possible financial decisions. We are always looking to improve our business processes, and you will have the oppor-tunity to make your mark here as well, while securing compliance with Group Policies.
You will be responsible for providing financial and commercial support for KOMPAN Sweden and Finland, en-suring correct and timely financial management, including financial and regulatory reports required by laws and regulations.
Your key tasks will include:
- Monthly closing and reporting for Sweden and Finland, as well as annual reporting
- Main responsibility for the auditory process in Sweden and Finland, liaising with external auditors and third parties
- Cost control, including optimization of cost-effectiveness
- Critical evaluation of business performance, striving to continuously improve business processes
- Net Working Capital (NWC) management and reduction (Debtors, stock, vendors)
- Monthly Business Review analysis and comments
- Yearly budget planning and reporting
- Close involvement in the development and implementation of the Sweden and Finland strategy
- Compliance with legal, GDPR, Transfer Pricing, local insurance, and legal commercial contracts
Besides this, you will guide and assign tasks to one colleague in Sweden and one within Finance Shared Ser-vice in Brno. Lastly, you will have HR responsibility towards Försäkringskassan, as well as monthly reporting of local payroll to Group Finance

Proactive Finance Manager with an international perspective
You are a highly skilled finance professional with a solid foundation in financial and accounting principles. Your strong business acumen and analytical approach enable you to optimize business processes and provide insightful financial reporting. You have a deep understanding of commercial operations and are well-versed in statutory legislation and regulations in both Sweden and Finland.
We also imagine that you:
- Hold an MA degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Are proficient in one or more ERP systems, Excel, and Power BI
- Are fluent in English and Swedish, both orally and in writing
- Have at least 5 years of experience in a financial position, 2 of which you have had full responsibility for finance
You thrive in environments with a wide range of stakeholders and can handle multiple tasks efficiently. You can articulate complex financial data clearly and concisely, seeing the big picture while ensuring that small details are managed effectively. You are a self-starter and self-manager who is hands-on in your approach, with strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Confident in dealing with senior stakeholders, you can work under pressure and meet deadlines, maintaining a strong attention to detail. Your curiosity drives you to take an interest in all facets of the business, enjoying being part of a greater mission.
You will become a part of our KOMPAN Sweden team working from our office in Göteborg, closely collaborating with Group Finance. You can expect 5-10 travel days pr. year in this role.
