Ensure the best level of service to all our clients

As a Service Manager for KOMPAN UK, you will lead our Service and Aftersales team which consists of Coordinators, Inspection and Maintenance Engineers and 3rd party installation partners. This incorporates supporting, training, and mentoring of our Service and Aftersales team and team leaders with the day-to-day operations to grow the service business within KOMPAN UK.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Forecasting and reporting of financial performance on a weekly basis to the Head of ISA.
  • Being responsible for Health and Safety of Works onsite and the training of the Coordination team and Engineers with toolbox talks, issuing and updating of RAMS and PPE. 
  • Providing Pricing of Works to aid quotes, tenders, and frameworks.
  • Having the overall responsibility of stock held for our Inspection and Maintenance business, working with our third-party warehouse partner to ensure KOMPAN can deliver timely repairs to our clients.
  • Reviewing and approving warranty claims regarding products and installations. 
  • Driving the integration of IT systems to aid efficiencies with the Service and Aftersales team. 
  • Assisting in the development of processes and procedures to streamline the KOMPAN Service and Aftersales team.

You will work across all areas of the business focusing on delivery of a high level of quality repair work, aftersales customer service and operational and annual inspections of play areas across England and Wales. It also involves closely collaboration with departments in other countries, such as the Quality Team in Denmark and our factory in Brno.

This role is a hybrid role, with 3 days in the office in Milton Keynes as a must. You will report to the Head of Installation, Service and Aftersales (ISA).

Experienced Service Manager within the Play Industry

You have experience of leading a multi-skilled service team and you have experience from the Play industry, including experience of practical repairs. 

You have technical qualifications in engineering and hold a RPII Operations Inspector Certificate as well as a Health and Safety Certification, such as SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH.

Moreover, you have the following competences:

  • Good all-round IT skills and the understanding of systems used to record inspections. 
  • Use of the MS office packages.
  • Good written and verbal English skills.
  • Great leadership skills and stakeholder communication skills. 
  • Able to work autonomously, proactively managing personal workload.
  • A positive ‘can-do’ problem solving attitude.
  • A professional commitment to excellent customer service.

KOMPAN’s Scottish office, based in Livingston, is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Digital Marketing Assistant to support our marketing plans. Working closely with the Sales team the objective is to generate more leads and create more brand awareness in the market. 

Our ideal candidate will fit in with our small existing team, so personality is just as important as skillset. You will have a background in Digital Marketing with experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Click-Dimensions or similar. Digital Marketing Assistant

  • CRM & Database Management - Develop and maintain marketing databases within Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, ensuring that all information is relevant for digital marketing.
  • E-campaigns - Strategic local Campaign Creation - Develop and execute email marketing campaigns both from locally created content and content created by Group Marketing to enhance the volume and quality of marketing qualified leads, contributing to the growth of marketing-sourced revenue.
  • Social media - Work with HQ created content and campaign and generate, edit, and publish local content across social media platforms, helping to build meaningful connections and encouraging customers to engage.
  •  Website & project case studies - Content creation and collation for local projects made ready for upload by company group marketing.
  •  Sales Materials - Produce project case studies, presentations, videos, and other assets that can be used to communicate the value proposition, features, and benefits of the products to potential and existing customers.
  • Reporting - reporting on campaign performance metrics and digital lead performance to enhance strategic decision-making.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • The successful candidate will come with energy, a passion for Sales & Marketing and bring new skills to the local team.
  • An outgoing, ‘can do’ attitude with a well-deserved reputation for getting things done. A sense of urgency is important.
  •  Time management, flexibility, and multi-tasking are all key skills that will help you to succeed within this role, and you will be focused on performance results.
  • Good overall IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel. Specific experience and proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Click-Dimensions (or similar) are essential.

Requirements

  • Have experience in selling solutions or projects incorporating products and/or services
  • Hold a strong commercial and negotiation acumen, preferably developed in a multi stakeholder environment 
  • Have drive, enthusiasm and a highly competitive nature, together with strong people skills and ability to build & form relationships
