HSE Specialist in Vejle
At Ammeraal Beltech Modular A/S in Vejle, we are looking for a dedicated HSE Specialist. You will be the leader and owner of the overall safety system.
As HSE Specialist, you will provide expert advice and guidance on HSE matters at all levels. You will be the lead and owner of the safety system and you will be conducting annual HSE discussions. You are expected to stay ahead with industry best practices, emerging HSE trends, and advancements in relevant regulations and technologies. Furthermore, you will build a positive and proactive HSE culture by encouraging employee participation, involvement, and ownership in HSE initiatives and also contribute positively to our group function.
Your tasks will include
- Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE Danish regulations, standards, and guidelines
- Foster a positive and proactive HSE culture by encouraging employee participation, involvement, and ownership in HSE initiatives.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate the workforce on HSE-related matters, promoting awareness and enhancing safety culture within the organization.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate HSE performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams Both internally and in Group to establish and maintain effective communication channels regarding HSE performance, initiatives, and requirements
- Advise and collaborate with management on implementing and maintaining management systems, including auditing in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Advise on AMO (arbejdsmiljøorganisation) both at the factory and Group level.
- Apply expertise in workplace layout, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and physical working environment
- Provide expert advice and guidance on HSE matters in an operational environment at all levels, including advising on AMO (Arbejdsmiljøorganisation) and conducting annual HSE discussions, etc.
- Conduct thorough incident investigations to identify root causes, recommend corrective actions, and prevent future incidents.
- Apply expertise in workplace layout, ergonomics, machinery safety, and industrial hygiene to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Required qualifications
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, health and safety or a related field (desirable). Relevant experience can be compensated for the lack of degree.
Experience in the field of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), with at least 3 years working with HSE strategies, incident investigation, audits, and processes.
Strong knowledge of incident investigation methodologies, root cause analysis (RCA), hazard identification, and risk assessment techniques.
In-depth understanding of relevant Danish HSE laws, regulations, and standards.
Proven ability to develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and training programs.
Danish and English, written as well as spoken.
