Commercial Project Manager

Drive commercial projects to completion with BORG Automotive.

At BORG Automotive we are in need of an ambitious project manager who will be responsible for driving commercial projects from scoping phase to completion. You will have an integral part to play in driving commercial projects while also supporting projects where the commercial organization is involved as a stakeholder. 

You will be integral in ensuring that some of our strategic projects and must win battles are successfully delivered. Managing those you will have a wide variety of internal stakeholders to collaborate with, hence good people management skills are essential. You will be working in an international company with employees from different countries and cultures so therefore proven communication skills are also very important.

At the minute we are scoping a new ERP project where the commercial organization is highly involved, this will be one of the first projects in which you will be participating. Sound IT understanding and knowledge of IT systems is therefore an advantage.

This role is new within our organization, hence there is substantial opportunity for the right candidate to form the job oneself, but some main responsibilities include:

• Plan and implement commercial projects according to strategic goals for the organization
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables
• Define required resources (internal and potentially external)
• Select, support and manage project team
• Manage project budgets, schedule and timeline
• Reporting on project status.
• Present progress to relevant stakeholders as well as problems and solutions (could e.g. be managing a Steering Committee or Advisory Group).
• Implement and manage changes when necessary to meet project deliverables
• Evaluate and assess the result of the project (incl. lessons learned)

Qualifications needed:

• Degree in computer business administration, information technology or related field.
• A couple of years’ experience running projects successfully
• Experience in running projects with multiple stakeholders. 
  • Perhaps you also have certification to showcase your project management skills.
• Strong knowledge of commercial processes and stamina to challenge the existing.
• Good at facilitating change management topics across a complex organization.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels within an organization.
• Analytical thinking and prolific problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and quality assurance.
• Can do attitude, ensuring things are getting done.
• Prolific English language, both written and oral.
• Preferably you have experience from a B2B environment within an industrial company in an international context. Industry experience is an advantage, but not a must.

• The position is full time. 
• You will be based at our Silkeborg headquarters where currently about 90 colleagues are based.
