We are experiencing rapid growth and are therefore looking for a Sales Coordinator to strengthen our Sales Support and Customer Care Department further.

We are looking for a Sales Coordinator to support the UK market. You will be part of a team of 20 other sales coordinators, working from our HQ in the heart of Copenhagen. You will play an important role in Muuto striving to provide best in class service.

The Role

As a Sales Coordinator for the UK market, you will work closely with your Muuto Sales Managers and UK customers. In addition, you will be in daily contact with our Supply Chain Department, Warehouse Operations Team and logistics partners to ensure goods are ordered at our suppliers and are delivered on time. You will also work with our Finance, Marketing, and Product Development Departments.

As a Sales Coordinator at Muuto, you are in the center of action, which is very exciting and requires that you stay organized to not miss anything.

Key tasks involve

  • Continuous dialogue with Muuto Sales Managers and customers in the UK
  • Answering a wide variety of questions from customers on phone and e-mail and assisting in securing additional sales.
  • Create orders and quotes in our system - knowledge of ERP systems like Navision, SAP, AX etc. is an advantage.
  • Coordination with our Supply Chain, Warehouse, and forwarders securing on time deliveries.

Your profile & competencies

  • You are a proven multi-tasker and can juggle multiple cases/orders at a time.
  • You are service minded, structured, and motivated by delivering excellent service.
  • You have a positive and energetic personality with problem solving capabilities.
  • You take ownership of tasks and execute them with the highest level of integrity.
  • You are a team player but also work independently.
  • Experience from a similar position or a Retail company is an advantage.
  • The position requires that you are fluent in English - both written and oral.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop new and existing business and maintaining key relationships across wholesale accounts in line with the company’s positioning and the region’s characteristics.
  • Analyze and monitor market and sales providing input to the company.
  • Schedule regular visits to accounts to perform continuous product knowledge training.
  • Manage promotion activities at the customers and ensure alignment with commercial objectives if necessary.
  • Manage orders, dealing with customer issues when needed (deliveries, payments, etc.)
  • Ensure that all clients adhere to the merchandising guidelines.
  • Offer continuously a premium quality service to customers.

  • Experience working with IT tools i.e. CRM systems.

  • Develop and maintain our network of dealers which include existing partners mainly in Copenhagen.
  • Develop and maintain our network of end user clients which include international corporate, hospitality and fashion brands.
  • Develop and maintain our Danish project portfolio.

Desired skills & experience

  • Ability to do cold call, research, and source potential business, follow up on sales enquiries, sell via telephone and in-person meetings.
  • Ability to act independently and make decisions within company policy.
  • Experience in selling to the Danish furniture and/or lighting contract market.
  • Preferably the candidate has an established client base with strong relations to senior decision makers within the A&D industry in Copenhagen/Zealand.
  • Experience in conducting one-on-one and group sales presentations at all levels.
