Muuto is an international design company that works with leading contemporary designers to deliver new perspectives on Scandinavian design across furniture, lighting and accessories. We are headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark with employees in 15 countries across the globe.

We are experiencing rapid growth and are therefore looking for a CONTRACT SALES MANAGER BAVARIA to strengthen our DACH team further. The position reports to Head of Sales DACH.

 

CONTRACT SALES MANAGER BAVARIA

You should live in Munich and have a very good network in the A&D scene. Therefore, you should have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role. You will together with our Head of Sales DACH be responsible for implementing our strategy and coordinate local adjustments.

 

Key tasks involve

  • Develop and maintain our network of contract partners
  • Structured development of our AD network
  • Build up key accounts
  • Negotiation of terms
  • Training of sales personnel

 

Desired skills & experience

  • Experience in selling to the German contract furniture market
  • Business education preferred
  • Ability to act independently and making decisions within company policy
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as sales manager or key account manager
  • Understands and speaks English
  • IT knowledge
  • Holds driver’s license

The candidate should live in the South of Germany and have a passion for design & willingness to travel. The candidate should therefore have some experience in furniture, design or/and sales. The candidate will together with our Head of contract DACH be responsible for implementing our strategy and coordinate local adjustments.

 

Key tasks involve

  • Support by developing and maintain our network of contract partners
  • Training of sales personnel & updating material library
  • End-to-end sales: Initial contact with client, negotiation and closing
  • Creative collaboration with sales manager & self-responsible competitor and market analyzes
  • Person of contact for our customer care & logistics.

  • Experience in end customer contact, sales talks

We are experiencing rapid growth and are therefore looking for a PR Manager to strengthen our Marketing team further. The position reports to Head of PR & Communications.

 

PR Manager

As PR Manager, you will be overseeing Muuto’s PR efforts throughout the world, working in close collaboration with the Head of PR & Communications and PR & Communications Coordinator.

 

Key tasks involve

  • Oversee, manage and execute our global press and influencer strategy
  • Develop and oversee the annual PR calendar in alignment with marketing and sales objectives
  • Secure coverage on new product launches and activate existing bestsellers
  • Build and maintain relations with global media, stylists and other relevant stakeholders
  • Continuously develop and pitch stories to publications across the world to secure editorial features
  • Ideate and execute press events in Muuto showrooms around the world
  • Handle incoming press inquiries regarding interviews, imagery, prices, product loans etc.

 

Your profile & competencies

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience from similar position within PR in design and/or lifestyle sector, with track record of securing key editorial coverage
  • Highly structured and detail-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communicational and relational skills
  • Result-oriented with a competitive drive
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently in a dynamic work environment
  • Written and oral fluency in Danish and English is a must. Third language proficiency such as German or French is a plus.
  • The position includes approx. 30 travel days per year.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

We are looking for a highly structured and detail-oriented candidate to join MUUTO.

As a Master Data Coordinator, you will become a part of our Supply Chain team and will have the responsibility for our product master data and play a key role in developing our supply chain and other related business areas. The main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

 

  • Proactive Data maintaining and ensuring excellent quality in Navision master data
  • Create and maintain product master data in our Navision system in corporation with Supply Chain
  • Coordination of master data requirements with various stakeholders/departments such as Logistics and Warehousing, Quality Assurance, Sales & Marketing
  • Ensuring data in Navision are streamlined to enable data dependencies to other systems
  • Analyze current data to identify and improve existing data gaps
  • Writing and maintaining SOPs for various task related to master data to ensure data consistency
  • Development of reports and tools to support the required Master Data quality level.

 

YOUR PROFILE AND COMPETENCIES

  • Master, Bachelor’s, HD or equivalent education within Supply chain or IT
  • Highly structured and detail-oriented mindset
  • Relevant work experience with master data and advanced user of MS Excel
  • Proven track record in handling large quantities of data with high accuracy
  • Excellent analytic skills, a proactive mind-set and a structured ap­proach
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English & Danish
  • Result oriented with a get-it-done attitude
  • Strong user of ERP systems, preferably with knowledge of Navision
  • A quality mindset and can prioritize your work in a fast paced and changing environment and comply with important deadlines.
