In this role you will be a part of a commercial team located at HQ in Brande combined with colleagues at our sales offices in Germany, UK, Dubai, Thailand and China.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
The Commercial Manager is responsible for leading and managing the region North America.  This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve strategic goals, expanding the customer base through business development, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Activities must be carried out in accordance with our policies, which also support our overall profitability and targets defined in our strategic direction Ingredients Tomorrow. 
- Formulate and execute activities within the regional sales targets and Sales Plans - aligned with Ingredients Tomorrow
- Analyze market, market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats
- Ensures a high level of market and customer knowledge within the region to identify and manage the customers and stakeholders, products and opportunities
- Customer Relationship Management by developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, distributors, agents and other stakeholders 
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues promptly
- Responsible for budget and forecast
- Responsible for achieving and exceeding regional sales targets and profitability goals
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives
- Provide regular updates and reports to Management on regional performance and market conditions
 
TASKS
According to your area of responsibility, your tasks will therefore include, among other things:
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve regional targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region, according to defined Product and Market Strategy
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to develop and execute sales strategies
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to key stakeholders, both external as internal 
- Negotiate and close contracts and agreements - ensuring compliance with our terms and conditions
- Monitor sales performance of our distributors and provide guidance and support as needed
- Develop the commercial capabilities among our distributors in the region according to our Commercial Excellence ambitions
- Track and report on sales metrics on regional level, including volume, revenue, market share and customer satisfaction
- Manage the regional sales budget
- Representing KMC at selected industry events, trade shows and conferences
- Maintain CRM updated in collaboration with the Technical Sales Managers. This includes projects status, minutes of meeting, customers house, stakeholder mapping etc.
 
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL COMPETENCES
We are looking for a strong and experienced candidate for this role and therefore expect that you can identify yourself with the following:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
- Proven track record of success in sales and project sales, possibly within a similar industry
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales
- Strong understanding of commercial acumen and practices
- Experienced user of CRM software and Microsoft Office 
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to travel within the region, min. 60 days per year
- Speak and write fluent Danish and English
