Your responsibilities

• To collaborate with the Group Freight Responsible to streamline operations and optimize freight management strategies in the BORG Group;
• To facilitate communication and coordinate workflow among colleagues from different countries at all organizational levels;
• To lead internal trainings, create user guides and process descriptions to enhance business understanding of established procedures at all company sites;
• In coordination with local managers, to secure all the necessary resources for optimal management of group freight process;
• In cooperation with local managers, to coordinate freight processes by executing the responsibilities independently, but also through delegating tasks to other team members;
• To anticipate freight area challenges and recommend the best solutions to avoid business risks;
• To build and manage business relations with external transport partners and to evaluate their service level;
• To control and achieve freight metrics at the agreed level;
• To prepare comprehensive reports and analysis in terms of freight area;
• To lead group and local freight projects.

Our requirements

• Experience on the similar position in a multicultural environment;
• Professional experience in manufacturing industry and matrix organization will be an asset;
• Master's degree in logistics or a related field;
• Broad knowledge of logistics with a strong emphasis on transport;
• Good command of English is essential;
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to educate and engage colleagues with diverse levels of expertise;
• Strong adaptability and high multicultural awareness;
• Proactive approach with strong problem solving orientation;
• Process focused and motivated by optimizing processes;
• Medium leadership competencies such as: social IQ, people development, ability to implement and business understanding;
• Strong specialist competences such as: verbal and written communication skills; ability to work both independently and in a team; change management, target orientation, initiative and continuous improvement;
• Very good computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX or other ERP systems is preferred.
