Logistics Specialist                                                                                                 

BORG Automotive is a leading European supplier of both remanufactured and new automotive spare parts, serving the independent aftermarket with quality, sustainability, and innovation.

Your Role

As a Logistics Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team in Silkeborg, Denmark, reporting to our Group Logistics Manager. In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening the link between our commercial organization and operational logistics. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic environment where initiative, ownership, and innovation are encouraged.

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the operation and continuous optimization of external warehouses, including consignment and express warehouse setups
• Analyze delivery service performance for selected customers and drive improvements to ensure optimal service levels

Other tasks

• Take part in working with analysis and optimization of business and system processes related to customer order logistics
• Support and contribute to cross-functional analyses and projects within areas such as packaging, transport, and warehouse development
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders on logistics agreements and operational processes
• Participate in optimization projects to continuously improve our logistics setup
• Act as a link between the commercial and operational organization, ensuring efficient flows and scalable processes

What We’re Looking For

• Educational background within Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (a Master’s degree is an advantage, but relevant experience can substitute)
• A strong commercial logistics mindset with a focus on creating business value through operational improvements
• Analytical mindset with solid data capabilities; experience with tools such as VBA or SQL is an advantage
• Self-driven and proactive, with the ability to take ownership and deliver results independently
• Curious by nature and motivated by identifying and implementing both small and large improvements
• Decisive and comfortable working close to operational processes to drive real change
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and collaborate across functions
• A hands-on approach and genuine interest in understanding and improving logistics operations
