Your Role
As an IT Support Engineer based in Silkeborg, you will play a key role in ensuring stable and efficient IT operations for our local users while also contributing globally. You will provide hands-on support, manage service desk activities, and take ownership of key platforms such as Audio/Video solutions and Microsoft Intune including Mobile Device Management (MDM).
This is a dynamic role combining operational support, technical problem-solving, and participation in IT development initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite IT support for all users in Silkeborg
- Respond to service desk tickets, phone calls, and emails with timely and effective solutions
- Handle escalated tickets and resolve moderate to complex technical issues
- Take global responsibility for Audio/Video platforms across BORG Automotive
- Manage and support Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Collaborate with colleagues on IT projects, including system upgrades and technology rollouts
- Create and maintain technical documentation for common issues and solutions
- Provide input on SOPs and processes, contributing to continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in IT support or service desk roles
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to handle complex technical issues
- Knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Familiarity with Audio/Video platforms is an advantage
- A structured and proactive approach to documentation and process improvement
- Strong communication skills and a service-minded attitude
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an international environment
