Assisting in strengthening BioMar’s visual identity, executing well-organised events

In collaboration with colleagues in the marketing department you will be primarily assisting in two main areas: 1) Securing a professional and homogenous visual appearance of BioMar company, products & concepts. 2) Ensuring efficient implementation of internal and external BioMar events within the EMEA region. You will also be given responsibility for diverse activities that are undertaken by the marketing department to support the local business units of BioMar EMEA.

More specifically, your tasks will include assisting in:

  • Ensuring that a targeted, holistic and uniform visual identity is established throughout all marketing & communications material.

  • Developing creative solutions for the promotion of BioMar products and concepts e.g. brochures, adverts, online banners and other online & offline marketing material

  • Executing in-house versioning of marketing materials, ensuring the communication is adapted to the local culture, language and context.

  • Taking part in organizing and executing internal and external BioMar customer events, conferences, exhibitions

  • Handling coordination of other translation and proofreading processes with external parties as well as internal colleagues

Secondarily you may also be given support function to the following tasks when necessary:

  • Participate in other diverse marketing activities f.ex: content creation for SoMe, BioMar customer magazine, undertake customer satisfaction surveys

  • Handle translation and proofreading of content on the languages you operate

 

Background within graphical design, strong planning and organizing skills

You are currently undertaking your Bachelor or an equivalent level degree within multimedia design, media graphics, graphic design, marketing & communications or similar. It is of utmost importance that you have international profile and a great understanding of cultural differences. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You are able to interface effectively at all levels and functions. Fluency in English is a must; proficiency in additional languages (ex: Danish, French, Spanish, Finnish or Swedish) is a major benefit.

You are a natural talent for graphic design and branding, with a good taste and sense of aesthetics. You are a super skilled user of Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. You are also able to use Microsoft Office programmes, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. If you have the skills for editing & producing videos, including animated videos and highly familiar with video editing software, it is a great advantage.

As an individual, you have a strong sense of urgency, responsibility and accountability. You have planning and organising skills, work in a structured manner, always meet the deadlines in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to readily adapt changes. You have a very sharp eye on the details; for example you quickly catch grammar mistakes in a given piece of text.

You currently reside in Denmark and have a valid work permit.

BioMar is looking for a strong independent individual with sales acumen for servicing trout farmers in Italy. Are you the person, who would like to take up this opportunity to further develop our market in Italy by proving first class customer support?

 

Responsible for sales and customer relations

As Customer Advisor you will hold a very central role for BioMar’s relationship with Italian trout farmers, where you will be expected to independently take responsibility for building new relationships with potential customers and maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients. You will be reporting to our Regional Sales Manager based in Brande, Denmark and join a team of Sales, Customer Service and Shipping. In Italy you will be working closely together with a BioMar Sales Representative. Your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Plan and execute on sales initiatives in cooperation with the BioMar Baltic organization

  • Build the network and relation to customers, primarily through customer visits

  • Manage order collection and follow up

  • Provide technical support to customers

  • Prepare and participate in customer events, trade shows etc.

 

Background within the aquaculture industry combined with an ability to work independently

As a person you are result oriented, self-driven and has an extraordinary ability to build relations and communicate with customers. With your commercial mindset you know how to analyze and target the market in the most optimal way. To work independently and take responsibility for the market and the customers is natural to you. Furthermore we imagine that you:

  • Hold a Veterinary degree or has a technical background within fish farming

  • Bring some professional experience within the aquaculture industry

  • Have some knowledge of trout farming (not a must, but it would be an advantage)

  • Speak and write both Italian and English fluently

  • Have a driver’s license and own car

As the customers are located in the Eastern and Northern part of Italy it would be natural, if you are based in this area or are ready to relocate. You should expect a travelling activity of up to 30 days per year outside Italy.

Deputy Technical Manager

BioMar-Tongwei Wuxi is looking for an experienced aquaculture specialist with a strong background within feed formulation and development. The right profile will be an asset to introduce BioMar’s feed products to the Chinese aquaculture market under BioMar’s Joint Venture operations with Tongwei.

 

The Job

As Deputy Technical Manager you will with a reference to the Technical Manager work primarily with product development and diet formulation. Among the key responsibilities you will find:

 

  • Participate in activities related to product development for the Chinese market including raw material evaluation and diet formulation

  • Recipe optimization

  • Coordinate R&D activities to support product development

  • Supervise feed trials

  • Development of written technical information on products to support Sales & Marketing

  • Training of Sales & Marketing staff on product technical data

 

The JV technical department is based in Wuxi and works in close collaboration with colleagues in both Tongwei and BioMar. The team is responsible for product development, feed formulation, raw material evaluation, and general technical support. We have a team based approach and strong coordination exists with all relevant departments including in particular Sales, Quality Control, Production, and R&D.

 

The Candidate

As a person we expect you to able to work independently and prioritize activities.  You can communicate easily and effectively with colleagues, stakeholders and customers. Your loyalty and persistence will be an asset to the JV in gaining market share with our innovative products.

 

You will probably have at least 5 years’ experience in aquaculture production or research. You will have a university education, bachelor’s degree or higher, in aquaculture or animal sciences. You will be required to be fluent English. Chinese language skills will be an advantage.

 

Your workplace will be in Wuxi, Jiangsu, PRC. Travel within China and internationally will be required.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will provide an excellent level of translation and interpretation support in BioMar-Tongwei. You will help to coordinate the relationships and communication of the board members and keep management information updated.

Your daily tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Presence at the board meeting providing translation and interpretation support

  • Coordination and secretarial work for the board

  • Assistance in handling relationships and communication among members of the board

  • Administration of activities and documents to support the board

Your Profile

You hold a Master degree in English, Communication or equivalent. You have at least 2-4 years’ experience from a similar position. You have lived, studied or worked in at least two countries and you are capable of working in a multicultural environment. Accuracy, sense of urgency, and confidentiality are the most important professional requirements. Fluency in English and Chinese is a must.
