This opportunity:

RIB Software DK Division has an immediate opportunity for a talented Lead Front End Developer seeking to work on a powerful portfolio of software solutions driven by industry expertise, best practice and developed on cutting edge technologies. This position is based in our Copenhagen, DK office. You will be working on the Collaboration Team whose mission is to bring the office and construction site closer together by creating focused digital tools for construction project collaboration. The Collaboration team is a dynamic, innovative and result-oriented in-house design and technology team supporting future ready solutions which would propel us to make engineering and construction more efficient and sustainable.

 

In this role, you will work on multiple concurrent projects of varying levels of complexity focused on user interactivity for projects of both short- and long-term duration, in close collaboration with colleagues and clients. The workload is fluid and follows scrum development methodologies, driven by our business and customer requirements. The successful candidate must be highly motivated to work in a fast-paced and exciting product/platform engineering environment.

 

What you will be doing:

  • For our Cloud SaaS Web platform - Architect, design, develop, test, and deliver modern front-end web applications which are performant, adhere to product designs, and meet responsive design and accessibility compliance 
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers to ensure the seamless integration of design concepts into front-end development.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide valuable insights on the feasibility and implementation of design elements. Contribute to creating prototypes and interactive components that align with user needs and design aesthetics.
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure a consistent user experience across various devices and screen sizes. Optimizing components for maximum performance.
  • Build dynamic, low latency, responsive and real-time user interfaces. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and typescript (React.js).
  • Create software tests, verify the functionality and quality of the software. Debug and resolve front-end issues and work closely with back-end developers to integrate user interfaces with server-side logic. 
  • Actively participate in peer code reviews, providing feedback to your fellow engineers to make them better and to improve the quality of the software we ship.
  • Perform code reviews, guide & mentor junior team members.
  • Stay updated on emerging front-end technologies and best practices and incorporate them into the development process.
  • Maintain, support, and enhance existing applications.
  • Adhere to the RIB culture of Customer orientation, innovation and excellence.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company resources and adhere to RIB’s Code of Conduct, Secure Coding Practices and related policies and procedures.

 

Required Qualifications

You have…

  • 5+ years of professional custom front-end web development with expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, React.js, Redux, TypeScript, Node.js
  • Experience with Micro front-end, microservices and Domain-driven development is a plus
  • Nice to have experience with client-side testing tools like Jest, Enzyme, etc.
  • Experience with Git, Microsoft Azure, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Experience working with UX design teams on developing modern web user interfaces
  • Experience in building responsive & intuitive front-end web applications using modern front-end JavaScript frameworks (React) and component-driven design.
  • Experience building RESTful web services.
  • Experience working in an agile team following scrum ceremonies (daily standups, planning, demo’s, etc.). Understanding of Agile/DevOps, QA and Testing concepts and tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills demonstrating technical leadership. problem-solving skills and a passion for staying updated on industry trends.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.

The Position

RIB A/S is looking for a Finance Manager who will lead a small accounting team in Denmark.  The main task is to ensure the correctness of the accounting and tax compliance as well as the support of the entity stakeholders in all finance and controlling relevant topics.

This position is based out of Copenhagen with the possibility to work remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Lead accounting department and bear responsibility for all processes in general ledger and tax compliance
  • Responsible for preparation and coordination of all financial statements to ensure meaningful and flawless group reporting
  • Contact person for auditors in all questions of general ledger and the internal control system 
  • Manage the payroll accounting
  • Lead on-going and quarterly financial forecasting 
  • Provide dashboards & analyses for local management
  • Monitor financial profitability ratios to ensure profitability of the business
  • Administrative coordination and statutory support, such as:      
    • Pension & Insurances
    • Compliance                                                                                                                                                                                  

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, (or related field)
  • 3 or more years of (managerial) accounting experience 

Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in general ledger, IFRS as well as tax
  • Affinity for numbers, mastery of financial concepts, intimate knowledge of financial statements
  • Conceptual, analytical, and critical thinking skills 
  • A strong team player with experience working independently on topics with structured approach
  • Leadership capability and change management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a matrix organization
