Project Manager

Do you want to play a central role in a growing international company? We are looking for a project manager with strong drive, structure and passion for project management and process optimization.

As project manager you will be a part of a small team acting as center of excellence within project and process management. Our leadership in best practices fosters a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and efficiency across the organization. A key focus for us is to ensure alignment with business goals, enhance resource utilization, and provide governance and support that empower our teams to achieve outstanding results. As a central function we span from small to large projects within various business areas such as finance, IT, supply chain, commercial, production and HR.

Your primary focus will be on projects within the commercial area as well as IT & Digitalization. Additionally you bring in a strong skill-set to our team within project discovery and project scoping, which can assist the facilitation of process optimization, project planning and initiation increasing success rate for our projects in general.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of small-medium sized projects
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
• Manage project resource allocation and utilization, ensuring appropriate assignment of tasks and responsibilities
• Risk management and mitigation to minimize project risks 
• Leading project teams and process areas facilitating an active line of communication that emphasizes openness and trust 
• Drive best practice within project initiation/planning and process optimization through facilitation of discovery workshops, scoping and requirement gathering

Skills

• Solid experience with project management in organizations, preferably within IT & Digitalization and/or commercial area
• Intermediate knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, PRINCE2) 
• Experience and skills within scoping, requirement gathering and process optimization (e.g. design thinking. Kaizen, Six Sigma, workshop facilitation, user story mapping)
• Solid project planning and scheduling abilities
• Strong communication and organizational and stakeholder management skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of budgeting, cost management, and resource allocation
• Problem-solving, analytical and decision making abilities
