Trademark Textiles is a full-service textile manufacturer with HQ in Kolding, Denmark. We produce Private Label textiles and related products for customers all over the world. With more than 18 years of knowledge and experience in the textile / fashion industry.

It is a position in our Scandinavian team as a Junior Buyer of textiles where you shall assist in procuring for selected customers. Your tasks include developing samples, ensuring a production, in the right specified quality, at competitive prices, and that it is delivered within the given timeline. This means it will be your responsibility to negotiate contracts, prices. You will be part of a strong and positive team consisting of several different nationalities. You will be involved in a wide range of activities across the company's value chain and will work closely together with sales, design, and your local Far East colleagues daily. The position includes frequent traveling to the Far East, China, and Bangladesh, where you will visit and work with suppliers to ensure quality and timely deliveries. Moreover, traveling includes sourcing new suppliers and visiting the suppliers of our suppliers.

Our international office is in Southern Denmark (Kolding) approximately 50 minutes from the Danish/German border with employees from more than 10 different nationalities. We can offer you a positive, developing, and flexible working environment where the corporate language is English meaning that Danish language proficiency is not a necessity. We support staying active with running days, volleyball, tennis etc. after work and in general value and encourage for social activities across the company. Your time with us will start with an on-boarding program to make sure you get introduced to all aspects of your job and will be followed up by continuous sparring with your manager.

What is expected of you:

  • A relevant academic degree, Bachelor level or higher preferably in Business/ or Fashion. 
  • That you can communicate fluently in English, both written and oral and have at least an intermediate level of English.
  • Previous work experience (1-2 years) within procurement, not limited to be within textiles.
  • We see it as a positive addition to your qualifications if you have gained international experience during your past work, studies, or travels abroad.
  • Good economic understanding, and a flair for numbers and calculations, and more than basic experience with Excel.
  • It is expected that you travel 40 - 60 days per year.
  • To be a team player and have the ability to work in a highly competitive industry.
