As a Group Transport Coordinator, you will be act as team leader for the operational transport team based in Poland, which handles centralized transport operations on behalf of the BORG Automotive Group as well as day-to-day transport activities.  

You will operate within a matrix organization, with a functional reporting line to the Group Transport Manager at HQ in Denmark and local reporting line to the local manager.   

You’ll work alongside passionate colleagues in a flat organizational structure where your voice matters, and your development is a priority. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Team coordination - Lead and support the daily work of the operational transport team in Poland, ensuring clear task allocation, follow-up and backup coverage. 
  • Operational freight management - Coordinate and monitor transport bookings across road, courier/express, air and sea freight for BORG Automotive Group flows. 
  • Process compliance and documentation - Ensure that transport processes, documentation, user guides and operational standards are followed and kept up to date. 
  • Shipment follow-up and issue resolution - Track shipments, handle deviations, claims and troubleshooting, and ensure timely operational follow-up. 
  • Stakeholder and supplier cooperation - Act as a operational contact point for internal stakeholders and external transport partners, supporting smooth cooperation across the Group. 
  • Planning, reporting and meeting support - Support peak-period planning, freight meetings, action lists, KPI reporting and other operational transport follow-up activities. 
  • Systems and continuous improvement - Maintain accurate transport master data and system setups, while identifying practical improvements in daily transport operations. 

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Experience in transport, freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in an international environment. 
  • Strong coordination skills and the ability to organize daily tasks for a team. 
  • Good understanding of transport processes, documentation requirements and operational compliance. 
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to work with internal stakeholders and external transport partners. 
  • Structured and detail-oriented approach to follow-up, reporting, claims and deviation handling. 
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and cooperate across locations and functions. 
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken. 
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on practical improvements and efficient ways of working.
