Do you have experience with electronics and a passion for shaping the development of next-generation high-efficiency welding converters?
At Migatronic, you will become part of an ambitious growth journey driven by new technology.
Our R&D department focuses on developing intelligent welding solutions, and you will join the Power group, which is one of the cornerstones of the department.

  • Full development responsibility for the power related design in close collaboration with a dedicated R&D team and across the organization.
  • Contributing to innovation and improvements of products and processes.

We offer an exciting workday where:

  • You collaborate with skilled colleagues as part of a complete R&D team that, in addition to power electronics, works with software, low-voltage electronics, mechanical design, test systems, and welding science.
  • You have great opportunities to influence the development of intelligent Migatronic green welding solutions, as employee involvement and room for innovation are top priorities.
  • We maintain an informal tone and a culture with humor.
  • You have opportunities for personal and professional development based on your wishes, interests, and competencies.

Your profile:

  • Education: B.Sc./M.Sc. in power electronics or related fields.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in electronic product development.
    • Experience in power electronics is definitely an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Desire to work with and take responsibility for all disciplines of converter development, from idea and specification to volume production.
    • Including topology analysis, design, PCB layout, testing/type testing, troubleshooting, product maturation, and design maintenance.
  • You are a team player with strong collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of EMC testing and approvals as well as safety certifications is an advantage but not a requirement.
