Student job - Product Specialist Student Role

BORG Automotive Group

Intro

You will assist one of our Product Specialists in keeping our product data accurate. You will start by working closely with your mentor and take on more responsibility as you grow into the role. For the right person, this can lead to other future collaborations.

What you will be doing

  • Creating and maintaining catalogue data in our ERP system
  • Generating and validating catalogue data for accuracy and consistency
  • Checking product data against our quality standards before release
  • Identifying data gaps and inconsistencies, and helping to close them
  • Supporting New Product Introduction: making sure attributes and documentation are complete and validated in ERP and CCU ahead of launch
  • Help to prioritize development projects after analyzing the reference data
  • Helping to improve the templates and workflows behind our data processes

What we are looking for

  • You are enrolled at a university, preferably in engineering (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, automotive, or similar) or a comparable technical field, with about two years left in your studies, and can work 10-20 h/week alongside your studies
  • You have a strong interest in cars and the automotive industry
  • You have solid technical understanding and are comfortable with mechanical components and technical documentation
  • You are structured, precise and analytical
  • You work confidently in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Interest in remanufacturing and the Circular Economy is an advantage
  • Excel experience is an advantage; ERP experience is a bonus, not a requirement

What we offer

  • A mentor in the team who shares the working procedures and best practices
  • Growing responsibility as your experience develops, with the option of other collaborations in the future
  • Insight into how an international aftermarket business runs, from product data to commercial decisions
  • Flexible work times, possibility to work hybrid
