Information about collection of your personal data:

When completing the questionnaire, data is collected about your name, email, gender, CV and cover letter.

We collect and register the personal information you have given in this questionnaire. Thereafter, we will potentially collect and register additional information about your skills from references and social media in order to evaluate your competences and experience for the position in question. Subsequently, you may be asked to fill out a personality profile and/or a video as a part of the process. Based on this information, we will develop a profile which we register and store for a period of 6 months.

The purpose of the abovementioned processing of your personal data is to evaluate your qualifications in relation to the specific position at the company/organisation you have applied for, as well as in relation to any future vacancies.

The information you have given in the questionnaire may be subject to automated decision-making. The logic behind this decision will be based on objective criteria, which makes it possible to identify applicants with the desired qualifications.

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is your given consent.

Your consent to the abovementioned processing can be withdrawn at any time with the result that the registration of your data is deleted. Withdrawing your consent can be done by contacting the person responsible for the recruitment process at the data controller.

Your personal data will be stored for a period of 6 months after which it will be deleted.

You have the right to at any time request information about your personal data, and to have it rectified or deleted. You also have the right to request a limitation of the processing or to object to the processing. This can be done by contacting the person who issues the questionnaire at the data controller.

You have the right to receive the personal data you have given in the questionnaire in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, as long as an anonymisation of the data has not taken place.

It is voluntary to answer the questions in the questionnaire, but an omission to answer the questions will reduce the ability of the data controller to evaluate your competences in the presupposed way, which in turn may affect the assessment of your qualifications in relation to the position in question.

Who are you?

You’re currently taking an MA-level degree in design or architecture.

You’re driven and enthusiastic, but other than that we take all types. It’s worth noting that we expect you to be able to work independently, but just as importantly that you’re not afraid to engage with the team whenever you need help or to just make sure you’re on the right track. But don’t worry - we’re a friendly and open group of people that shares laughs and challenges with joy.

You have good presentation skills, you can work in Rhino and/or Solidworks, you feel comfortable in the most common apps in Adobe’s Creative Cloud. Some work in Office 365 is also to be expected.

Additionally, conveying your ideas in a host of different media including physical models, is to be expected, so feeling "at home" in a workshop is a big plus.

For more than 50 years, KOMPAN has worked hard to provide the best possible user experience for children, helping them grow their skills and become social, physical and creative people.

During the last decade we’ve expanded this to help offer fun and challenging exercise for teenagers, adults and seniors.

Springs, seesaws, climbing nets, structures, ball courts, furniture, training bikes, weight stack machines… the list is very long and we have a pretty extensive product portfolio, all created by a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, architects, illustrators, craftsmen, safety and product specialists.

However, we always strive to improve and expand on our products and solutions, and to provide meaningful offerings to our end users, through user involvement, prototyping and testing, and you can be a part of this process.

What do we offer?

We offer the full design experience, from ideation through sketching, CAD modelling, scale models, functional mock ups through user testing and you can be a part of every step - an internship at KOMPAN offers as much of a challenge and responsibility as you are able to handle, but you will not be left on your own - our diverse and international design team is here to support and guide you.

For models and mockups, we rely on 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC panel cutting and have access to metal and wood workshops, and you’ll be able to benefit from all of it.

You’ll join our team in our Odense HQ, where we have a desk/computer ready for you.

In addition to great colleagues and a fun workplace, we offer a very nice lunch buffet, and while you’re here you’ll also be able to participate in company activities and outings arranged by our "company club".
