As our new Senior Purchaser, you will become a part of a team consisting of 9 colleagues in Esbjerg and 3 remote.
Your primary responsibilities and tasks will consist of the following:
• Responsible for sourcing pharmaceuticals from several European countries & trading to external partners
• This hands-on, end-to-end role allows you to create tangible value by capitalizing on price differences between European markets
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to fulfil 2care4’s demands of the right quantity at the most favourable prices.
• Make decisions based on various metrics, such as forecast, margin and stock level.
• Work independently but ensure alignment and collaboration with your team and key stakeholders e.g. Sales and Product Development.
• You will travel to suppliers, customers and trade fairs (approx. 20-35 days per year).
• Participate in cross-departmental projects to improve organizational efficiency.
A little more about you
You have at minimum a Bachelor degree. You have strong commercial profile with "trading genes" which supports your negotiation skills. To succeed in this role, you must be an excellent communicator and ultimately you will build and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers&customers.
But most important is it that:
• You have experience within parallel import/or pharma industry.
• You have a positive attitude and a "can do" approach.
• You can make decisions based on several data input whilst being aware of some degree of uncertainty.
• You are ambitious, and you see change as a positive thing.
• You have a problem-solving and curious attitude.
• You are fluent in English. Any other European languages will be beneficial.
