Join Our Team of Skilled Weldersfor a Long-Term Project in Denmark!

Our team of highly skilled professionals from Poland and Lithuania is growing, and we are looking to add experienced welders to join us.

 

Open Positions: Fitters and welders (135,136,138).

Start Date: As soon as possible - notify us of your availability.

Location: Esbjerg, Denmark - 80 minutes from the German/Danish border.

Project duration: For the right person, the job is usually long-term (especially if the project gets extended or the employer is satisfied with the cooperation). Alternatively, the worker may be employed for a new project with a different client.

We’ve had colleagues working continuously with this client for over 3 years in a steady rotation (with holiday breaks).

Rotations: 4x2, 3x1 or 2x2 or let me know what fits you best.

Skills Required:

  • Welder: Minimum 5 years of welding experience with certification 135/136/138 FW BW. Advantageous skills (optional): Mounting, reading technical drawings and WPS, torch cutting, and grinding.
  • Fitter: Minimum 5 years of mounting, reading technical drawings, torch cutting, and grinding.

 

Certificates Required:

  • Welder: Valid certificate 135/136/138 FW BW.
  • Working environment and safety for welding and thermal cutting §17 from Denmark (formerly called §26 course). If you don’t have it, we can arrange for you to take an online course.

 

Job description

Welding and assembly work both in the workshop and outside the workshop, with possible work taking place on a ship. Black steel, steel structures.
Welds will be tested with ultrasound for crack resistance. Black steel, sheets up to a maximum of 50-60 mm thick.
For new workers, test samples may be required on the first day in the future

 

Work Schedule

  • Day Shift: Monday to Saturday, 06:00 to 18:00.
  • Night Shift: Monday to Saturday, 18:00 to 06:00.

Paid Hours: For each 12-hour shift, you are paid 11,5 hours (1 hour total break, with 30 minutes break that is paid).

Overtime Pay: Monday to Thursday you receive overtime pay after 7,5 hours of work completed, Friday is after 7,0 hours of work completed. On Saturday and Sunday and in the evening/night you receive a special supplement. See the overtime rates and supplements on the table below -  Link.

 

Income

Night shift

Your net salary every 4 weeks at full employment after deducting accommodation: Net salary 59.676 DKK (around 7.994 EUR / 34.016 PLN) **.

Day shift 

Your net salary every 4 weeks at full employment after deducting accommodation: Net salary 49.542 DKK (around 6.636 EUR / 28.263 PLN) **.

Extra to the salary: 

  • 12,5% holiday allowance
  • 13,0% flexible spending account (fritvalgskonto FVK) 
  • 13,0% pension contribution after 2 months (11,0% VICOS and 2,0% employee). 

Payroll every two weeks with an optional advance of up to 6.000 DKK (around 804 EUR / 3.483 PLN) after 12 days of work.

Accommodation: VICOS arranges accommodation near the workplace. A single room with internet and access to kitchen and bathroom costs 135 DKK/day (utilities included) (around 18 EUR / 78 PLN). Please note that the rent has already been deducted in the net salary calculation above.

Meals: Employees are compensated for a 30-minute break instead of receiving free meals. Meals are available in the canteen from Monday to Friday at 45 DKK per meal (around 6,03 EUR / 25,81 PLN).
