KOMPAN U.S. is looking for a dynamic National Key Account Manager - Multi-Family & Housing to drive the growth and expansion of our outdoor play and fitness solutions within the multi-family and housing segments. This role is crucial in developing relationships and managing key national accounts within the multi-family housing, property management, HOA, and real estate development sectors.
The National Key Account Manager - Multi-Family & Housing will play a key role in building strategic partnerships and delivering tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of multi-family communities, housing developers, and property managers. What You’ll Do
• Create and execute a national sales strategy to penetrate the multi-family housing and property management markets, including new construction and renovation projects
• Drive sales and build relationships with key decision-makers in real estate development, property management, HOAs, multi-family housing sectors, condominium associations, property management firms, senior living communities, mixed-use developments, and residential communities / developments
• Identify and target key national account opportunities within the multi-family housing sector, collaborating with architects, landscape architects, and developers to provide tailored solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams (regional sales, marketing, product development, and leadership) to ensure alignment and maximize impact across all touchpoints
• Develop and present customized proposals for multi-family and housing developments, addressing the specific needs of developers, property managers, and residents
• Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of industry developments, ensuring KOMPAN’s solutions remain competitive and aligned with market demands
• Provide thought leadership by educating key stakeholders on the benefits of outdoor play and fitness solutions for residential communities, enhancing resident satisfaction, and fostering long-term engagement
• Attend and represent KOMPAN at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build brand awareness and connect with prospective clients
• Leverage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to drive sustainable sales process behaviors and pipeline growth
What You’ll Need
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sports management, real estate, or a related field is preferred
• 5+ years of sales experience in a customer-facing, activities-based selling model, with a proven track record in the multi-family housing, real estate development, or property management sectors
• Strong understanding of the multi-family housing industry, including real estate development, construction, property management, and community engagement strategies
• Experience managing and growing national accounts, preferably in a product-based, project-focused sales environment
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders at all levels
• Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships and drive business development in the multi-family housing and residential markets
• Experience with large-scale multi-family or residential projects, including working with developers, architects, and builders
• Preferred experience understanding the unique needs of multi-family and housing communities
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills with the ability to identify opportunities, solve complex problems, and execute effective sales strategies
This position is based from your home office, with nationwide day and overnight travel (up to 50%).
