What You’ll Do

  • Develop and manage materials procurement processes, inventory assessments, and product availability
  • Create and/or review purchase requisitions and identify potential suppliers
  • Forecast needs and supplies by meeting with supervisors and department heads to understand the needs across the company
  • Evaluate spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries
  • Negotiate competitive pricing, bidding, and contractual agreements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness
  • Evaluate RFP’s and vendor proposals to ensure that all requirements are met, confirming accurate terms and delivery dates
  • Continuously analyze and improve the procurement process for efficiency, accuracy, and cost reduction
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expense and improve effectiveness
  • Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems, placing orders to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus
  • Control spend, and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs

 

What You’ll Need

  • College degree, with a minimum of 5 years in procurement and sourcing
  • Manufacturing work experience is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with contract negotiation experience
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Highly-driven and self motivated

What You’ll Do

· Effectively manage all technical aspects of a playground installation

· Hold prestart, progress, and handover meetings with customers and sub-contractors including changes to the scope of work, and ensure that all installations meet customer expectations

· Review product designs, proposals, and contracts for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements to establish start and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of the project

· Prepare and approve job forecasts, including contractor and sub-contractor compliance based on project specifications

· Foster and promote relationships with project owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers

· Ensure KOMPAN receives the best possible pricing in collaboration with accounting, while tracking budgets and reporting monthly cash flow to ensure job profitability, accuracy, and schedule adherence

· Communicate with internal teams and customers to provide regular updates

· Deliver world-class end-products in terms of build quality and specifications, identifying outstanding work for scheduled completion, prior to project handover

· Manage the aftercare process including defect completion, supplying handover packs to the customer, and communicating future maintenance requirements

 

This position is 60 - 80% travel throughout the DFW region.

 

What You’ll Need

· College degree in a related field, with 3+ years of experience (or 8+ years of experience in lieu of education)

· Previous project management experience with both small and large construction projects required

· Thorough understanding of the construction industry

· Experience with pre-construction work, including planning, design, review, value engineering, project scheduling, and conceptual estimating

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong team leadership qualities and the ability to manage high-stress situations

· Excellent time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills

What You’ll Do

  • Drive sales revenue and gross profit across North America, focusing on the Family and Quick Service Restaurant segments.
  • Establish and expand KOMPAN Commercial Systems’ presence in the region.
  • Execute the regional strategic plan to grow market share and brand presence.
  • Develop and nurture both new and existing partnerships, including restaurant owners, franchisees, and key stakeholders such as architects and construction managers.
  • Lead and support the Business Development Manager in achieving sales targets.
  • Oversee key account development and management, ensuring strong, lasting relationships.
  • Plan and execute sales strategies for new and existing customers.
  • Build, maintain, and grow a robust customer base in the region.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and foster long-term customer relationships.

  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and teams at the KOMPAN US office.

 

Travel: Approximately 60-80 days per year

What You’ll Need

  • College degree in business or related field preferred
  • 7+ years of business development experience in a customer-facing, CRM-driven environment
  • Strong sales and management experience, ideally within the restaurant, playground, or construction industries
  • Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts, particularly in the commercial, restaurant, or service sectors
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities

· Leverage the CRM by targeting market segments (e.g. schools, parks and recreation departments, municipalities, landscape architects, contractors, and housing developers)

· Create product awareness and demand by articulating the world-class quality of KOMPAN equipment through presentations and industry events

· Prepare sales quotations and basic designs with the assistance of our highly supportive central team

· Ensure quality communication with your customers throughout the sales process, from the design phase through installation and post-sale

 

What You’ll Need

  • College degree
  • Experience in long sales cycles and solution selling preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of managing a CRM system preferred
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and project-management capabilities

KOMPAN U.S. is looking for a Pre-Sales Coordinator to manage requests for playground project proposals from our sales representatives. This position will review incoming projects and coordinate with vendors to obtain installation and surfacing estimates to provide our sales representatives and vendors.

 

The role entails coordinating projects from the early planning stage through the order placement, by collaborating with other departments and outside vendors to provide the most accurate quote for equipment, installation, and surfacing.

What You’ll Do

· Create proposals for outdoor playground and fitness projects, including products, installation, surfacing, and site work

· Analyze project requirements from sales and define the Scope of Work for each project

· Request pricing information for various items and services, from installers and third-party suppliers

· Working with site plans to determine the correct quantity of materials needed

· Coordinate the quotation and design submission to the sales professionals and customers

· Create final quotes using the Navision ERP system, ensuring accurate data (e.g. cost, prices, and margins)

· Manage projects and accurate data in Navision ERP and MS Dynamics CRM

· Support Sales Representatives and colleagues with ad hoc tasks

 

What You’ll Need

  • High school or equivalent with 1+ years of related work experience
  • Excellent project coordination skills with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Preferred experience working with pricing and/or calculating margins
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively, both independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Preferred experience working in an ERP system (NAV2016 or similar) and/or a CRM
