What You’ll Do

· Effectively manage all technical aspects of a playground installation

· Hold prestart, progress, and handover meetings with customers and sub-contractors including changes to the scope of work, and ensure that all installations meet customer expectations

· Review product designs, proposals, and contracts for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements to establish start and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of the project

· Prepare and approve job forecasts, including contractor and sub-contractor compliance based on project specifications

· Foster and promote relationships with project owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers

· Ensure KOMPAN receives the best possible pricing in collaboration with accounting, while tracking budgets and reporting monthly cash flow to ensure job profitability, accuracy, and schedule adherence

· Communicate with internal teams and customers to provide regular updates

· Deliver world-class end-products in terms of build quality and specifications, identifying outstanding work for scheduled completion, prior to project handover

· Manage the aftercare process including defect completion, supplying handover packs to the customer, and communicating future maintenance requirements

 

This position is 70 - 80% travel around the Midwest region.

 

What You’ll Need

· College degree in a related field, with 3+ years of experience (or 8+ years of experience in lieu of education)

· Previous project management experience with both small and large construction projects required

· Thorough understanding of the construction industry

· Experience with pre-construction work, including planning, design, review, value engineering, project scheduling, and conceptual estimating

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong team leadership qualities and the ability to manage high-stress situations

· Excellent time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Manage and develop the U.S. supply portfolio and strategy
  • Oversee vendor agreements, analyze spend, and set priorities with stakeholders
  • Negotiate with key suppliers to ensure savings and value add, including year on year savings on indirect spend
  • Ensure availability of products and price negotiations, including indirect categories of third party products
  • Generate and implement efficient sourcing strategies, develop ordering procedures and policies, and ensure efficient system handling processes
  • Drive relationships with key stakeholders and work in conjunction with our global headquarters to ensure sustainable growth, savings, and value for the business
  • Leverage buying power through consolidation of suppliers while building robust relationships with key providers
  • Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency

 

This position includes up to 25% travel.

 

What You’ll Need

  • College degree with 5+ years of experience in procurement and/or sourcing of indirect and third-party product categories
  • Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
  • Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment with strong negotiation skills
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
  • Comfortable with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data
  • Self-driving and goal-oriented, with experience in translating stakeholder requirements into business solutions

  • Qualify inbound leads from the website, social media, phone, email etc.
  • Research prospective leads, sourcing new sales by identifying key players and performing outbound calls and follow-up emails
  • Route larger qualified opportunities to field Sales Representatives for further development and closure
  • Develop meaningful relationships with customers
  • Manage the full-cycle sales process on small and simple projects, that can be closed quickly with no involvement of field Sales Representatives, including advisement on product selection, solution designs, creating quotes, and obtaining orders
  • Collaborate with field Sales Representatives on opportunities generated in the field to close the sale from the office

 

This position is a hybrid role based in our US Headquarters in Austin, TX.

 

What You’ll Need

  • 2+ years working in sales, inside sales, outside sales, or business development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • CRM experience preferred

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the daily operations of the contract process, including preparing, analyzing, tracking, and modifying contracts
  • Assures accuracy and appropriateness of contract text and attachments
  • Collaborate with Finance Director and other departmental leaders to ensure contracts are properly executed
  • Monitor contracts (includes administering, extending, modifying, or terminating contracts)
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, including risk management and corporate legal compliance
  • Liaison for negotiating contract terms between the company and external parties
  • Develops and maintains an organized system of physical and digital records
  • Notify stakeholders of decisions, problems, or further actions needed relative to the contract
  • Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures
  • Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with stakeholders about contractual issues.
  • Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms

 

What You’ll Need

  • At least 5 to 10 years of experience as a Contract Administrator, paralegal experience preferred
  • Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts
  • Familiarity with accounting procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability in trying new technologies to aid in streamlining contract reviews
  • Keen attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with varying seniority levels, including colleagues, managers, and external partners

What You’ll Do

 

  • Create shop drawings/site plans detailing layout, demolition, permitting, and installation requirements that are compliant to ASTM, CPSC, ADA, or CSA
  • Use equipment selection, customization, juxtaposition, landscape architecture, and surfacing design to tell stories and build engaging experiences
  • Communicate and collaborate with Sales Representatives, Quoting, and Installation departments as well as Product Designers at home office to design projects to client specifications on time and on budget from schematic design to construction administration
  • Work within a regional group of designers to coordinate and delegate tasks and project responsibilities
  • Assess and edit preliminary project layouts for code compliance
  • Create visually compelling presentations that tell a story about proposed design solutions
  • Regularly present design solutions to various stakeholder groups, clients, and end-users
  • Independently manage multiple projects simultaneously, specializing in the unique requirements of your local market

 

What You’ll Need

  • Expertise in Autocad (Rhino, Revit, ArchiCAD, Microsystems, or similar CAD software), Expertise in 3dsmax (Sketchup, Maya, Revit, or similar modeling software), experience using (Enscape, Lumion, VRay, or similar rendering plug-ins)
  • Bachelor’s degree or greater in an applicable field including landscape architecture, landscape design, interior design, architectural design, etc.
  • Experience in landscape architecture, landscape design, interior design, architectural design, playground design, amusement park design, waterpark design, etc. is preferred
  • Broad experience applying code and technical constraints to design solutions
  • Familiarity with reading construction sets and designing in topographically challenging environments
  • Ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • An online portfolio that demonstrates strong design and visualization skills
  • Be able to develop and communicate a project design narrative through compelling presentations

What You’ll Do

  • Interpret AutoCAD plans into 3ds Max Scenes for visualization
  • Use equipment selection, customization, juxtaposition and surfacing design to tell stories and build engaging experiences
  • Translate topographical contours into accurate 3D embankments and terrain
  • Use Forestpack and Railclone to apply foliage, hardscape, infrastructure, vehicles, and characters
  • Use Vray to light and render scenes in appealing compositions that tell a visual story and draw the audience in
  • Paint and illustrate digitally in Photoshop to convey customized product designs using a digital drawing tablet
  • Create Fly-through animations that showcase both the products and the space in a fun and cinematic way
  • Render and set up Virtual panoramic tours that allow the viewer to become immersed in the experience as if they were in the space
  • Utilize multi-pass compositing in Photoshop and After Effects to bring your renders to life and add that post-production POP
  • Work within a regional group of designers to coordinate work and project responsibilities
  • Pay special attention to inclusive features such as curb heights, thresholds, and accessible pathways in the final renders
  • Create visually compelling presentations that tell a story about proposed design solutions
  • Occasionally present design solutions to clients or end users

 

What You’ll Need

  • Proficiency in 3ds Max + Vray (or experience with Maya, Zbrush, Cinema4D, Rhino, Revit, Arnold, Blender, Cycles, or similar 3D software), Microsoft Office, Adobe Products, Wacom Tablet (or similar digital sketch tablet)

What You’ll Do

· Sell and promote KOMPAN playground and fitness equipment to industry targets in your region, becoming an expert in design and functionality

· Prospect, network, and build a pipeline through activity-based sales

· Leverage the CRM by targeting market segments (e.g. schools, parks and recreation departments, municipalities, landscape architects, contractors, and housing developers)

· Create product awareness and demand by articulating the world-class quality of KOMPAN equipment through presentations and industry events

· Prepare sales quotations and basic designs with the assistance of our highly supportive central team

· Ensure quality communication with your customers throughout the sales process, from the design phase through installation and post-sale

 

What You’ll Need

  • College degree
  • Experience in long sales cycles and solution selling preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of managing a CRM system preferred
  • Strong presentation and communication skills

What You’ll Do

· Effectively manage all technical aspects of a playground installation

· Hold prestart, progress, and handover meetings with customers and sub-contractors including changes to the scope of work, and ensure that all installations meet customer expectations

· Review product designs, proposals, and contracts for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements to establish start and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of the project

· Prepare and approve job forecasts, including contractor and sub-contractor compliance based on project specifications

· Foster and promote relationships with project owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers

· Ensure KOMPAN receives the best possible pricing in collaboration with accounting, while tracking budgets and reporting monthly cash flow to ensure job profitability, accuracy, and schedule adherence

· Communicate with internal teams and customers to provide regular updates

· Deliver world-class end-products in terms of build quality and specifications, identifying outstanding work for scheduled completion, prior to project handover

· Manage the aftercare process including defect completion, supplying handover packs to the customer, and communicating future maintenance requirements

 

This position is 70 - 80% travel around northern California.

 

What You’ll Need

· College degree in a related field, with 3+ years of experience (or 8+ years of experience in lieu of education)

· Previous project management experience with both small and large construction projects required

· Thorough understanding of the construction industry

· Experience with pre-construction work, including planning, design, review, value engineering, project scheduling, and conceptual estimating

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong team leadership qualities and the ability to manage high-stress situations

· Excellent time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills

This position will review incoming projects and coordinate with vendors to obtain installation and surfacing estimates to provide our sales representatives and vendors.

What You’ll Do

· Create proposals for outdoor playground and fitness projects, including products, installation, surfacing, and site work

· Analyze project requirements from sales and define the Scope of Work for each project

· Request pricing information for various items and services, from installers and third-party suppliers

· Working with site plans to determine the correct quantity of materials needed

· Coordinate the quotation and design submission to the sales professionals and customers

· Create final quotes using the Navision ERP system, ensuring accurate data (e.g. cost, prices, and margins)

· Manage projects and accurate data in Navision ERP and MS Dynamics CRM

· Support Sales Representatives and colleagues with ad hoc tasks

 

What You’ll Need

  • High school or equivalent with 1+ years of related work experience
  • Excellent project coordination skills with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Preferred experience working with pricing and/or calculating margins
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively, both independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Preferred experience working in an ERP system (NAV2016 or similar) and/or a CRM
