What You’ll Do

  • Support the KPI manager for North America in executing research projects and delivering continuing education
  • Conduct literature reviews
  • Collect and analyze data
  • Prepare documentation for continuing education programs
  • Work closely with KOMPAN sales professionals to share KPI findings and establish the KPI team as leading thought leaders in playground design
  • Contribute to global initiatives through regular collaboration with KPI’s Denmark-based team
  • Play a key role in shaping the future of play by bridging research and real-world application

 

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Development, Early Childhood Education, Child Psychology, or a related field
  • Experience assisting with research involving children (birth to age 18) and families
  • Completion of Human Research Protection Training (or willingness to complete during onboarding)
  • Ability to translate academic research into commercially relevant insights
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills with a cross-functional and multi-national team
  • Proficient in data collection (observations, interviews) and analysis (quantitative and qualitative)
  • Ability to interpret and critique scientific literature in child development and play
  • Skilled at presenting complex topics to diverse audiences (50-100 participants), both in-person and virtually (Teams/Zoom)
  • Collaborative mindset for working with internal teams and external partners
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Organization and attention to detail with the ability to manage documentation and online data systems
  • Flexibility and adaptability-comfortable with multitasking and shifting project priorities
  • Based in Texas or the Western United States, with proximity to a major airport required.
  • This role involves up to 40% travel for research, stakeholder meetings, presentations, and conferences.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute innovative talent acquisition strategies to meet current and future hiring needs.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters.
  • Partner with department heads and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and define job requirements.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or 4 years of equivalent experience (Preferred). 
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success in developing and executing recruitment strategies.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing techniques, ATS platforms, and recruitment marketing.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

What You’ll Do:

Team Leadership & Management

  • Supervise and support the accounting team responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Staff Accountant duties.

  • Lead the monthly and year-end close processes.

  • Use a combination of equipment selection, customization, juxtaposition, and surface design to craft compelling visual stories and build engaging, immersive experiences.
  • Translate topographical contours into accurate 3D terrain and embankments, ensuring realism and spatial accuracy.
  • Utilize Forest Pack and RailClone to populate scenes with foliage, hardscape elements, infrastructure, vehicles, and characters.
  • Use V-Ray to light and render scenes, creating visually engaging compositions that communicate narrative and atmosphere.
  • Paint and illustrate digitally in Photoshop to visualize custom product designs and enhance presentation materials.

What You’ll Need

· Prepare and approve job forecasts, including contractor and sub-contractor compliance based on project specifications

· Ensure KOMPAN receives the best possible pricing in collaboration with accounting, while tracking budgets and reporting monthly cash flow to ensure job profitability, accuracy, and schedule adherence

· Communicate with internal teams and customers to provide regular updates

· Deliver world-class end-products in terms of build quality and specifications, identifying outstanding work for scheduled completion, prior to project handover

· Manage the aftercare process including defect completion, supplying handover packs to the customer, and communicating future maintenance requirements

What You’ll Do

· Sell and promote KOMPAN playground and fitness equipment to industry targets in your region, becoming an expert in design and functionality

· Prospect, network, and build a pipeline through activity-based sales

· Leverage the CRM by targeting market segments (e.g. schools, parks and recreation departments, municipalities, landscape architects, contractors, and housing developers)

· Create product awareness and demand by articulating the world-class quality of KOMPAN equipment through presentations and industry events

· Prepare sales quotations and basic designs with the assistance of our highly supportive central team

· Ensure quality communication with your customers throughout the sales process, from the design phase through installation and post-sale

 

What You’ll Need

What You’ll Do

  • Assist customers and colleagues by answering incoming calls and emails to process quotes, claims, and orders for spare parts and warranties
  • Receive, prioritize, track, and resolve requests from customers, sales representatives, and members of the installation team for parts requests
  • Analyze technical documents and research historical installation information to determine warranty coverage for parts
  • Utilize excellent customer service skills to respond to all requests and provide continuous communication in a timely manner
  • Process quotes and create purchase orders for parts orders using Navision and CRM software programs, updating the requesting party with order confirmation and tracking information
  • Collaborate with internal teams for warranty approvals and missing parts requests on active installations, while maintaining knowledge of warehouse inventory

 

What You’ll Need

  • High school or equivalent, with 3+ years of customer-facing experience
  • 1+ years of experience preferred in technical processing / inventory control in the building materials or a construction-related industry
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Navision, and/or CRM preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time-management and task prioritization capabilities
  • High degree of integrity and professionalism

What You’ll Do

Billing & Invoicing

  • Generate and send customer invoices accurately and on time
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Address and resolve billing discrepancies or client inquiries

Deposits & Collections

  • Record incoming payments (checks, ACH, wire, credit card, etc.)
  • Reconcile daily deposits and apply them to appropriate accounts
  • Assist with proactive collection efforts and escalate as needed

Travel & Expense Administration

  • Review employee expense reports for policy compliance and accuracy
  • Maintain accurate records for audits and reporting
  • Perform administrative tasks associated with set up and maintaining travel accounts

General Accounting Tasks

  • Support month-end close activities (e.g., journal entries, reconciliations)
  • Maintain accounting files and documentation for audit readiness
  • Assist with data entry, reporting, and ad hoc projects as assigned

What You’ll Need

  • 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role 
  • Internship or co-op experience in a finance/accounting team (a plus but not required)
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting or expense platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Acubiz, Egencia, NetSuite, SAP)
  • Attention to detail with a knack for catching discrepancies
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Interest in growing into a broader accounting or finance role

What You’ll Do

 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of regionally based Project Managers to ensure successful project execution and team growth.

  • Oversee the prioritization and allocation of resources across multiple installation projects to maximize business impact, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, proper staffing, and adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.

  • Develop a Project Management training program, provide ongoing training, coaching, and professional development opportunities for Project Managers.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among internal teams and external vendors to minimize roadblocks and maintain alignment on project goals and timelines. Act as a neutral escalation point to resolve project-related challenges.
  • Actively support Project Managers in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues during installation projects.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team culture, encouraging accountability, transparency, and open communication.

 

What You’ll Need

 

  • College degree, with 7+ years of progressive experience in project management, operations, or construction-related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing distributed teams.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams across geographically dispersed regions.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with a track record of improving operational performance and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party contractors in complex, multi-site installation projects.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to navigate and resolve project challenges effectively.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and key performance indicators (KPIs) for tracking execution and success.
  • Ability to travel as needed across North America to support regional project teams.

 

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Austin, TX, with up to 70% local and domestic travel.
