When completing the questionnaire, data is collected about your name, email, gender, CV and cover letter.

We collect and register the personal information you have given in this questionnaire. Thereafter, we will potentially collect and register additional information about your skills from references and social media in order to evaluate your competences and experience for the position in question. Subsequently, you may be asked to fill out a personality profile and/or a video as a part of the process. Based on this information, we will develop a profile which we register and store for a period of 6 months.

The purpose of the abovementioned processing of your personal data is to evaluate your qualifications in relation to the specific position at the company/organisation you have applied for, as well as in relation to any future vacancies.

The information you have given in the questionnaire may be subject to automated decision-making. The logic behind this decision will be based on objective criteria, which makes it possible to identify applicants with the desired qualifications.

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is your given consent.

Your consent to the abovementioned processing can be withdrawn at any time with the result that the registration of your data is deleted. Withdrawing your consent can be done by contacting the person responsible for the recruitment process at the data controller.

Your personal data will be stored for a period of 6 months after which it will be deleted.

You have the right to at any time request information about your personal data, and to have it rectified or deleted. You also have the right to request a limitation of the processing or to object to the processing. This can be done by contacting the person who issues the questionnaire at the data controller.

KOMPAN U.S. is looking for a Sourcing Manager responsible for handling the end-to-end sourcing operations in the United States. The successful candidate will be able to appraise and improve our sourcing activities by analyzing spending, negotiating with key suppliers, and supplying partnerships to ensure year-on-year savings and value add.

What You’ll Do

Manage and develop the U.S. supply portfolio and strategy
Oversee vendor agreements, analyze spend, and set priorities with stakeholders
Negotiate with key suppliers to ensure savings and value add, including year on year savings on indirect spend
Ensure availability of products and price negotiations, including indirect categories of third party products
Generate and implement efficient sourcing strategies, develop ordering procedures and policies, and ensure efficient system handling processes
Drive relationships with key stakeholders and work in conjunction with our global headquarters to ensure sustainable growth, savings, and value for the business
Leverage buying power through consolidation of suppliers while building robust relationships with key providers
Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency

This position includes up to 25% travel.

What You’ll Need

College degree with 5+ years of experience in procurement and/or sourcing of indirect and third-party product categories
Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment with strong negotiation skills
Strong project management and leadership skills
Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
Comfortable with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data
Self-driving and goal-oriented, with experience in translating stakeholder requirements into business solutions
