Area Sales Manager - Developer & Housing (Southern region)

It is due to this growth we are now looking to recruit and add an individual to complement our existing sales team.  

Responsibilities

  • To offer a full turn-key solution from the KOMPAN portfolio of products and services to various markets including Contractors & Housing Developers
  • New business development with on-going account management responsibility 
  • Liaising with and managing relationships with various buying points and external stakeholders at varying levels of seniority where a tailored approach is required 
  • Developing innovative designs and quotations based on international best practice and an in-depth local understanding of client requirements that are seen through to a successful conclusion in what, can be a long sales cycle 

Requirements

  • Demonstrate a successful track record of sales achievements within an environment that has a mixture of short, medium, and long sales cycles
  • Experience of working within the key market segment identified 
  • Demonstrate experience in prospecting, sourcing leads, new contacts and identifying potential new business
  • Have experience in selling solutions or projects incorporating products and/or services
  • Hold a strong commercial and negotiation acumen, preferably developed in a multi stakeholder environment 
  • Have drive, enthusiasm and a highly competitive nature, together with strong people skills 

Key deliverables

  • Focus to meet monthly and annual targets
  • Ability to self-generate leads and seek out potential business opportunities
  • Strong communicator with both external customers and internal support staff 
  • Meet objectives as agreed with management 
  • Good knowledge of tenders and RFQ processes
  • Knowledge and ability to use all Microsoft packages

Desirables

  • Have the ability to create, prepare and lead on developing project specific packages
  • Good understanding of the construction market
  • Experience of working with concept designs 

Sales area: London Area, Kent, Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex, East Sussex & Essex (full area can be discussed at interview)
